An awesome update, I had a CT at Christie’s a week last Saturday and it’s still all clear. So phew I’m now a year in remission. I will now just have a blood test in 3 months, my last CA125 was 5 but I should point out that it was only 37 at diagnosis and it was rife, including spots on my colon and a bit on my liver, had full hysterectomy and debulking and the bit on my liver taken off, they left the spots on my colon which they mopped up with the Chemo. 6 x carbo/taxol with Avastin alongside, then had further 12 Avastin which finished 17th Feb. I’ve opted for a scan in 6 months rather than 3 months.
I always like to read good results on here especially for LG (Low Grade), so I wanted to post my good news. Wishing all you beautiful ladies good wishes too. X

Brilliant news ! So pleased for you . I am also low grade 2a and just had blood test results on Friday and CA125 is 9 . It hovers around 7-9 since after my op in Oct 2018 . My CA125 was 1,432 before op which I understand is unusual for low grade
It is important to be able to read good news alongside the not so good, thank you for sharing yours with us, long may your good results continue, you’re under one of the best teams in the world so are in really good hands. Here’s to the next scan and good news 🥂❤️Xx Jane
Excellent news. Yep I know what its like to have to have a low ca125 (twice) which in no way actually reflects what is actually going on. I never got as low as 5, 9 was my limit so well done you. As I'm going through chemo again, this is the sort of news I love to hear. Long may it last. 🤗. Jackie x
Yes I did, I cut out all animal products, including dairy and especially cut out sugar. If you look at any packet of food it’s loaded with sugar and this new hype of plant based and vegan foods in supermarkets are the worst usually.
I followed Chris Wark’s book and numerous other inspirational books on how to get healthy through nutrition. You don’t need to buy the books you can listen to his podcasts and radical remission is a good one too, again podcast or there’s a website.
I try and follow a whole foods plant based diet, which means anything out of the earth and not processed. It’s a lot of rice and beans and nuts but you get used to it I did exercise before and that is very important too, I meditate once a day as well. I am still in remission with my next blood test next week. (29/3/21) Hope that helps.
