Septated cyst after total hysterectomy (ovaries too)

I had another scan today after being told by the gynae that a 4.7 cm cyst after a full hysterectomy wasn’t possible so is probably bowel related. This scan showed the cyst is now 5.6 cm cyst and is now septated, it has a small amount of blood in it but no idea what else is in there. Ultrasound lady said she is 100% it’s ovarian and has re referd me to the gynae again.

I had a hysterectomy a year and half ago and have felt amazing up until a few months ago. I’m gutted that this has happened, I have no details as to how this can happen other than what I’ve googled.

Anyone have a experience with anything like this?

I had both ovaries and tubes removed, guess you had same, so I wouldn't expect it either. My ultrasound results were odd before my op, and MRI gave different info and diagnosis. Neither was really right and it turned out during my op to be endo confusing everything.

I’ve been given morphine now and told to hold out till Monday so they can do yet another scan
