Hi Ladies I had a laprascopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy and bilateral salpino oophrectomy 6 weeks ago for OC. Since my operation I have had a lump on my right side where my tumour was the gynae team think it’s a haematoma. I also still get some discomfort on that side. Otherwise I feel really well. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced a similar thing.
I start my Chemo. In 2 weeks time.

I had a full hysterectomy on 20 June. I don't have a lump where my tumour was, however, I experience back spasms if I lie on my back to sleep. I am fine during the day when I am moving. I sometimes get discomfort if I reach too far or do too much. I am fine in myself. When I look back as to what I could not do after my operation to what I can do now, I am doing so well. Hope all goes well with your chemo. I start mine on 8 August.
Thank you for your reply. I have spoken to my team and they do t seem that bothered about the lump. I hope your Chemo. Goes well. I’m quite apprehensive but it’s got to be done. Take care
