Lymphedema after mastectomy & sentinel node biopsy
Hello,I was wondering if anyone has experienced lymphedema in their arm 1 year + after a sentinel node biopsy. I had a hysterectomy procedure yesterday and they told me I can't have IV's, blood draws or blood pressure checks in my right arm because they removed lymph nodes. I had a colonoscopy in October

Updates- 😱😤🤯🧐
Hi Feel like the only ones that will understand are people who are the same as me. I previously posted that I had been listed for surgery as a priority 2. So I saw two consultants this week and was told that I havent been listed at all. 🤯😵😤 However both the consultants I have seen were brilliant

As natural as possible...
Hi, having just had a full hysterectomy incl ovaries I'm expecting to be thrown into menopause. I'm hoping to use natural remedies for any unpleasant symptoms. Is it worth taking anything now? Does anyone have suggestions for bone health please? I had adhesions and mild endometriosis and hope that's

Anyone treated Endo successfully using holistic medicine??
I have deep infiltrating endo, which according to the scans, has really made itself at home, including screwing up my left fallopian tube and now being pretty keen on my left kidney's blood supply. Having seen an endo surgeon, he said, from looking at my ultrasound results, it is likely that given

urethra pain
Hi, I am new to this group. I have read some older posts that resonate with me. I started to have a pressure on my urethra to always feel like needing to go after I had just been. My doctor, without seeing me said OAB. So I have been on Oxybutynin, this has not agreed with me at all. So now Solifenacin

What can I do? Help please?
Hi, I was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease in March this year. In August I started taking hydroxychloroquine at 200mg. I saw my rhumotolgist about 3 months in and told her I had not noticed a difference. She told me to increase my dose to 400mg which I did. Fast forward another 2 months

Newbie here, tests/symptoms suggest PA or AAG
Hi everyone. My medical adventures have been ongoing for years but, like many others, I have struggled to find a definitive diagnosis for my symptoms. My spouse is the only person I've shared all this with. He's been by my side and supportive throughout numerous doctors shrugging their shoulders — and

good news I think…
thank you to everyone who sent reassurance. The Gynaecologist I saw today is convinced my Ca125 results are related to something that isn’t OC. She based this on a past ultrasound that said ovaries normal. She thought possibly my thyroid nodules which are being investigated in parallel. My pains

Giving up, please help.
I am at the end of my tether and don't think I can live like this anymore. 4 years in and in the worst state I have ever been in physically and mentally, I really don't know what else to do. I'm looking into credit cards and loans to pay for a private hysterectomy, endo is effecting my bladder, bowels

Fatigue after cervical cancer 2019
Hey,I've been really struggling to manage my fatigue post treatment (radical hysterectomy, brachy, radio, chemo). Even though my treatment finished 3 years ago, fatigue is an ongoing issue. I've handed this over to my healthcare team, who are sympathetic, but are limited I in what they can offer. I

Experiences of having one ovary or full hysterectomy
Hi lovely endo warriors. I had a laparoscopy 4 weeks ago. Yesterday my consultant called me and we had a 30 minute conversation (I had to pinch myself as that has never happened before?) 😵 Anyway he explained everything he found in detail and went through all my options. Because of the extent of my

Stage 4 Endo- complex surgery including bowel required- Need Positive stories
Hi All I have stage 4 endo. I have had 2 laps now. The second had to be abandoned as the surgeons couldn’t access my ovaries to remove Endometriomas and any adhesions as my bowel was in the way and stuck to my right ovary and uterus. I have had an MRI since and the results are to be discussed at an
