Any thoughts/advice on my results?
Main symptoms are Fatigue, weight gain, lack of concentration & drive. Nearly all bloods are “in range” so for docs nothing wrong with me, so went back for more detailed bloods to research myself and ask for help and advice from others who have more of a clue! Not on any thyroid meds as doctors all

Help with test results
I have most my blood results back and nearly everything is within range! A few things to note: the B12 I have been on a course of it since April to improve it, it was at 255 so has risen to 313 now. On the Anti-TG there is a note to say the sample was Hemolyzed so needed to be redone. Cortisol is high

Ive always been borderline with low ft4 and ft3 and can convert no problem. Ive had vitamin tests and they showed

Hepatitis A and B Vaccination for PBC patients
I had in incident recently that made me worry about contracting Hepatitis A. I'll be doing blood test this week to check that out. But, as my doctor and I were talking, she said that it'd be good for me to get vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B. She said, in general, for people with chronic liver disease

Hello everyone; & thanks once again for encouragement, feedback, input, etc. after my first post last week. Can Anxiety Cause a Hallucination?
A year and a half ago I bought some Retin A on line for a wrinkle on my forhead, used it maybe 6 times in 2 weeks and my skin was like a wet sponge. If I touched it, it indented and stayed and the skin peeled off my nose completely. I don't know if it was that or an ingrown hair on my arm, but I developed

Night vision.
Hey hey, Does anybody have any issues with their night vision??? I've started noticing odd things!?! OK I'll try to explain. My bedroom door has a frosted glass panel. Normally with a light on downstairs I could see it. Now when I look directly at it I can't see a damn thing, if I glance down I can.

Tapering after 5 weeks on 20mg
Hi - would love input. My Rheumatologist has decided that I should decrease my Pred by 2.5mg per week until I reach 10mg. (So from 20 to 10 in four weeks) and then go down 1mg per month. I am so pleased to be tapering down but am so nervous as well. Does 2.5mg per week seem reasonable? My DEXA scan also

Water Cure
I am starting the water cure that was developed by Dr. F. Batmanghelidj, who said: "You're not sick; you're thirsty. Don't treat thirst with medication." Water cure involves drinking half your weight in ounces (so f.e., if you weight 120, you would drink around 60 oz./day), and taking unprocessed sea

Roferon-A question
I have been using Roferon-A since early 2013, injecting 3miu 7 times a week for most of that time. It's currently not doing a fantastic job of controlling my blood counts and I was wondering whether any of you have been on a higher dose than this? Thanks, Jo

Can I safely give small amounts of methylcobalamin to a 3-year-old?
Hello all, So can I give methyl B12 to e 3-year-old (just put a sprinkle of my powdered methylcobalamin in his milk)? Also can you recommend good brands of kids' vitamins containing methylcobalamin? I have been browsing in search of such but the only methylcobalamin I've found is in kids' multi-vitamins

Night Blindness
Is anyone troubled by this? I haven't been able to drive in the dark for a few years now and it's a real pain. I seem to have a problem with Vit A/Beta Carotene as I have Carotenemia. I take a Vit A supplement a couple of times a week but it's no better. Anyone got any ideas please? Thanks :-)
