Suppression of TSH but low T4/T3 levels whilst taking Levo/Lio Combo
I had a
gastric
bypass
done in 2018 and my weight has been stable for a few years now. Every time I go in with any issue, they see the TSH and it's like an 'aha, that's the problem' and they just don't look too closely at anything else.

If you remember I have had a
gastric
bypass
and my absorption isn’t good. Vitamin D came back in the normal range though still isn’t great. It looks like I’m going to have to self administer B12 so if I could get some advice about where to buy some I’d be really grateful.

Non alcoholic fatty liver
I feel like I've been left with little advice other than I'm now being told to have a
gastric
bypass
. I don't over eat so it wouldn't help but my endocrinologist doesn't believe me, it's incredibly frustrating. Can a fatty liver cause damage to my actual liver? What can be done to help it?

Persistent AF and breathlessness. Is it likely to be the cause?
It was not heart or lungs. 3 weeks ago
gastric
bypass
refused at point of surgery because of HR and they noticed breathlessness on walking. Went to GP about breathlessness, they didn’t examine me just said it was AF.

consultant Gastroenterologist
A phone call yesterday from a consultant Gastroenterologist was very unsuccessful! It lasted less than 5 mins! I explained my symptoms and what my last blood tests results were and I am indeterminate B12 deficient (as per March 24 N.I.C.E guidlines); I also explained it may be my gastric band that’s

What ever happened?
Why can't I get my fat arse out of my room and bed? I wrote some lists out for what we need to do around the house and remind us what to do on a daily and weekly basis once the deep clean is done, Every time I plan anything I just get waylaid and all that gets done is, tv oh yeah and crap snacking!

Husband due triple heart bypass
Hi! My 62 year old husband is due to have OHS for a triple bypass at Papworth this year (he had LDA stents in 2011 following a heart attack which have since failed). We don't really have any information yet apart from that. Any advice on what to expect during and after, what recovery looks like, things

worried
my husband is currently in theatre having a triple heart bypass. I feel so worried even though I know he’s in good hands. just wanted to seek some moral support. The waiting for news is quite stressful.

Survivor tattoo
Hi Just thought I’d share my first tattoo with you, following my heart bypass on 18/01/23. The good part is that the area on my chest still has no feeling following the surgery.

3 weeks post triple heart bypass
After the initial shock of needing a bypass after a heart attack, I was discharged from hospital having what felt like the sweats and palpitations in my chest, neck and back, reassuringly the ECG at hospital was normal. It turned out I had a chest infection, meaning I spent another week in hospital

Triple heart bypass
My husband is 6 weeks post triple heart bypass pass. He continues to experience pain around his chest and he now has severe pain around the sternum. It doesn't seem to be improving. I'm looking for reassurance. Is it normal to experience severe pain 6 weeks post op. Thank you.
