Weird fear
Hi everyone! Sorry for the long post. I just feel like I need to get this off my chest in order for me to feel better, hopefully. For starters, I suffer from health anxiety. Can anyone relate to this? I feel like it really started In April 2019. My dad, who just turned 58 this year, had emergency triple

Had my Heart Bypass Op
Just wanted to thank all of you for your funny suggestions, comments and stories regarding my pj dilemma for my upcoming surgery and your wholeheared support. Both helped enormously. Had my op on Wed and just got back home. Very sore but happy to say all has gone well so far and now on the road to recovery

Clicking sternum
I am 17 weeks post bypass surgery and my sternum is still clicking quite a bit. Is this normal or should I see a surgeon to have it redone?

Recovering
I had triple bypass surgery on Christmas eve. I endured many of the side effects that we have all experienced. I am doing great and have given the green light to resume all normal activities.

Pacing Wires
Hi Guys I wonder if any of you have had issues with retained pacing wires after CABG? Today I have had sharp pain at the site where my pacing wires were cut flush to me skin just before discharge from the hospital. The pain gets worse when I bend. I get this pain from time to time but not always. My

Looking like Hugh Hefner!
Hi All. So I got my heart bypass date, next Wed the 5th woohoo! Now I need to buy some button up pyjamas but why do mens pj's either come in stripes and make you look 90 plus or are in satin and make you look like Hugh Hefner? Something to consider along with should I go for one last KFC before the op

Fast heartbeat after triple CABG
I seem to be experiencing a really powerful fast heartbeat, I'm one week on from a triple bypass last Monday and was sent home Friday. I can't seem to slow it down, my booklet says if it lasts more than 2 hours then see my GP. Is this normal? I'm terrified it's not going to stop? Advice on how to slow

Lesley aka Sand Dancer 💃🏻
Hi Everyone, I realise that the passing of Lesley has been posted by her friend in Newcastle. Lesley and I became great friends and I will miss her Hugely more than I can say here. I kept touch with her during this illness, and her lovely husband Peter & Laura kept me up to speed with everything. Dan

Angina post CABG
So, following a CABG 3.5 years ago to resolve a blocked Circumflex, I still seemed to have angina afterwards. I was recently directed back to the Chest Clinic at the local hospital as I felt like my angina had become more frequent. I saw a Cardiologist who, having looked at my history and the resting

And we have a date...
We have a date for my fiancé’s bypass surgery, he has to be at hospital next Sunday for surgery on the 27th 😳 The nhs are doing it privately as he became “urgent” and this way was much quicker. Glad to have a date but terrified and nothing in place! Fiancé has gone to bits and for some reason is obsessing
