Plastic in Spiriva capsules
Hi I’ve been on
Spiriva
18 micro inhalation powder hard capsules for two and a half years now. I can’t seem to get any answers to my question of where does the tiny bit of the capsule go after the capsule has been pierced.

Spiriva respimat new device
Hi, I've been on
Spiriva
respimat for a while now. I know that I need a new inhaler device every 6 months but this option is no longer in my repeat medication and when I request one they just prescribe a new refill.

spiriva resprimat inhaler symptoms
Hi everyone , I have been on a new inhaler
Spiriva
Resprimat 12 days and been really good , however the last few days it’s been an effort to breath and a chesty cough , also a stuffy nose . I’m not sure whether to stop it to see if symptoms go away , or if it’s a virus starting ? .

The pharmacist also offered to prescribe
Spiriva
. Not a chance after the trial I had in November-December 2023. That stuff doesn't like me. TBH, I'm kinda glad to be going back to a MART regime. After being MART for 6.5 years I was feeling a bit vulnerable without the extra steroid.

hi, have others found that
Spiriva
has helped to stop exacerbations from colds? I've had three colds since September: the first put me in hospital for 12 days. The second two have led to oral steroids at home (with quick improvement). This has been a nasty introduction to lung problems.

Peak flow greater AM or PM?
My 'normal' reading for my age, height, and sex, is 530, and my personal lowest is 200 and best is 450 so far (I have been taking readings since mid-July, when I first started using
Spiriva
Respimat; I'd been using Fostair for 6 years already).

My Gp decided to try me on this yesterday, I had been using
Spiriva
handihaler but it was not helping with my breathing, and before that I had a bad experience with trimbow. Will I ever get the right inhaler ? Hope you all have a good weekend Issy X

Wheezing and Tight Chest
It's now May and I still have the same symptoms and since January 2024 I've also been taking
spiriva
and montelukast. Any one out there had a similar experience? Any idea what I can do to get rid of the wheezing.

I’ve started this today but it’s confusing me and I set it up wrong. There’s no spray but it’s turned a lot and I’m worried I’ll lose medicine and it’s not working right. I know I’ve not used as much as it says.

Peak flow - best of 3 (or more?)
Had an asthma diagnosis for 8 years, recently told I have COPD, and prescribed
Spiriva
inhaler on top of Fostair. I noticed Boots had an offer on Omron peak flow meters, £14.95 so I got one, and now I'm taking readings morning when I get up and evenings before going to bed.

Spiriva respirmat and Fostair
Community respiritory nurse changed my inhalers from Braltus and Duoresp to Fostair and
Spiriva
respirmat. This was 2 months ago. Question is for the past 4 or 5 weeks I have been getting quite bad muscle abd joint pain. Has anyone else had this on any if these inhalers or is it just coincidence.
