Spiriva respimat
Been given
Spiriva
Respimat to try alongside Fostair and Ventolin? Been taking this for 6 days. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to do its job and stop my breathlessness (if it’s going to). The reviews are not very hopeful that I’ve read. Thank you. x

Relentless Asthma flare
I also take Flovent hfa and
Spiriva
respimat . Yesterday, I used my nebulizer Levalbuterol first waited 2 hours then used
Spiriva
. Oh my gosh , after I used the
Spiriva
I started coughing and like I couldn’t breath for a few. Then it passed. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Trimbow / Fostair
I saw a respiratory consultant recently and as most other inhalers have already been tried he suggested switching my seretide and
spiriva
to trimbow.

Severe allergic asthma constant flare ups
And
spiriva
gave me blood in my mucus and jitteriness. I have had nearly 15 courses of pred since September and am just fed up. This cough is still ongoing and I hv a flare up just about every 2 weeks. My gp just gives me pred now as he says I don't know what to do as I am running out of options.

Chest pain Spiriva + Symbicort++
Recently started
Spiriva
and found that I have more chest pain than before. Even though I cough less I feel like my chest is inflamed and have shortness of breath. Coughing plugs in mornings. I have had to add Neulin to help get through the day. Been like this for months now.

Alvesco and fostair
Along with
spiriva
. My asthma is relatively uncontrolled, but
spiriva
has helped a lot. My consultant has just put Alvesco 160 into the mix twice a day. Any idea of what he is doing, apart from just increasing my steroid load.

Fostair nexthaler
I was also put in montelukast and
spiriva
. This combination helped as in some days I'm fine and others the wheezing is back and the airway feels inflamed. I also nebulise colomycin which is a antibiotic. Last month I managed to cycle like 10 mins 3 times before the wheezing started again.

My respiratory nurse has changed my inhalers from Fostair to Trimbow plus continuing with
Spiriva
. She also recommended I take Gaviscon twice a day to stop any potential acid reflux affecting my throat area as my voice gets quite hoarse by the end of the day.

Asthma not well controlled
I also have
Spiriva
, Carbocisteine and Montelukast but despite this I've had three courses of Pred this year and it's looking like I might need another before the year is out 😢.

peak flow is okay but struggling to breathe
My best is 550 on Symbicort plus
Spiriva
and I find that the peak flow doesn't drop below 470-500 even if I struggle to breathe with tight and burning chest? Sometimes even with confirmed chest infection and wheeze across chest as per stethoscope my peak flow sits at 500. Anyone else knows why?
