Emphysema
I use ventolin, fostair 200/6 and
spiriva
respimat inhalers. I am prescribed 2 ventolin, 2 fostair and 1
spiriva
per month. I have sent a cd to the tribunal from the hospital that contains xray and ct scan images. Any idea why the dwp would do this ?

Order of inhaler use
Hi everyone, I have been prescribed Fostair 200 twice per day and
Spiriva
once per day . Which do I use first and which time of day.? I am confused by the advice. I also have a Ventolin inhaler but my doctor did not say to use this as well. Many thanks, Judy

Spiriva Respimat use
Hi, has anyone used
Spiriva
Respimat inhaler and found it hard to inhale. I have just recently started using this and find that when I inhale it takes my breath away and makes me cough. I would really appreciate anyone who may be having or had the same problem. Cheers

Covid Vaccine - Am I Group 4 or Group 6
I am on
Spiriva
(tiotropium), Symbicort 200/6 x 6 puffs daily and Montekulast. I have had 3 courses of prednisolone this year and my asthma still isn't well controlled. I am due back to work soon and feel consumed with anxiety at the prospect while the virus is still circulating.

Lung restriction and mucus blocking airways
I’d not used any inhalers or asthma meds for a few years but since lockdown my asthma has got much worse and I’m now on seretide 250 2 puffs twice a day and
spiriva
respimat 2.5 micro grams 2 puffs once a day.

Any ideas on COVID Vaccination?
It is under control with
Spiriva
Respitmat and blue inhaler if required. I have no idea when I'm likely to receive my COVID Vaccination. Does it make a difference as to where you live? Any ideas please?

Symbicort 100/6 side effects or?
I've only been taking since yesterday and have felt a bit of a faster heartbeat, but not too much (as what I experienced on
Spiriva
!)

Struggling with Covid and asthma.
This is despite being on 40mg of pred since Monday plus max dose of Fostair,
Spiriva
, montelukast and loads of Ventolin. Phoned 111 last night and they told me to go to A&E. Sats were 84 when after I walked in there but improved a bit when I had been sat down a while.

A bit fed up
Since then I’ve accumulated medications - now on Fostair 200/6 2 puffs twice a day, montelukast,
Spiriva
Respimat, Uniphyllin Continus 500mg a day and Ventolin as a rescue inhaler.

Side effects - aargh!
This is probably a trivial moan - but I can’t pay a cheque in using online banking app because it’s now 4 hours after my morning doses of fostair 200/6,
Spiriva
respirated, montelukast and uniphyllin continus 300 and I’m trembling so much that I can’t hold my phone still enough to take photos of the

Synbicort / spiriva: insomnia and tachycardia
To get rid of the stupidly high dose of seretide I was one, the respo nurses moved me over onto seretide (2x 2 puffs, an and pm) plus
spiriva
respinat (2 puffs, am), plus retaining my montelukast.

Do you ever go back to “normal”?
The Montelukast has worked 🙂 but that dose of steroids never seemed to put me completely right, and by start of December the GP prescribed another 5 day dose and changed my inhaler to
Spiriva
(2puffs a day) and Salbutamol as a reliever.

Steroid dependent- 30 mg for 6 mo. When we lower, asthma symptoms return, missing work today
I also take all the high dose inhalers- dulera,
spiriva
respimat, montelukast and a biologic- Dupixent. Now I’m 3 days after the 25 mg and woke at 3 am with severe asthma cough- took albuterol and about an hour to be able to lay back down and sleep again. Worn out and don’t feel well today.

Bad exacerbation - when to return to work?
Thanks to a full asthma review (possibly the first "proper" one I've ever had) in hospital, I'm now home with symbicort, pred, and then
spiriva
when pred runs out.

Continuing flare of cough predominant asthma - amytryptiline
Currently on fostair,
spiriva
respimat, pred, carbocisteine, montelukast, uniphyllin, nebs, codeine for the pulled muscles and to supress cough. I also drink warm honey and lemon or chamomile tea literally all day, suck on packets of soothers in an attempt to calm it.
