Fostair - anyone using this?
Hi I am currently taking Symbicort 200/6 - 8 puffs a day and
Spiriva
dry 18mcg which has given me pretty good control since I started the
spiriva
. I have had a flare up for no apparent reason which has not settled despite a short course of Pred.

Discontinued inhaler, bank holidays and feeling poorly
Anyway now I can't have that drug as MDI inhalers are no good to me because I react to the propellants so I'm going to try and get them to prescribe
Spiriva
instead, but everywhere is closed until Tuesday.

Despite increasing becotide, three courses of pred through the year, serevent and
spiriva
, I now get crippling chest tightness and cough from any kind of exertion. I can't do anything really so I've been off work for a few weeks.

Prescriptions abroad
My problem is my doctor will not give me more than 3 months supply of the three inhalers I take - Salbutomol, Seretide and
Spiriva
Capsules.

Spiriva confusion.
I have recently been started on a new inhaler
spiriva
respimat. When I took the script to the pharmacy I was asked why I was on this inhaler. Apparantlu it's for copd and not asthma he was unsure why I had been given it. I have looked on the web andd can only find research into it's use in copd.

Hayfever+steroids
I have Bricanyl, Symbicort and
Spiriva
but they don`t seem to help `cos the breathlessness comes and goes as if I`m being squeezed. Also feel quite sick on and off. Sorry to moan but only other asthma sufferers know how it feels- I think other people think you`re making a fuss.

When does Asthma change to COPD, or does it?
He reluctantly prescribed
Spiriva
Respimat. I took this medication and the relief was almost instant, I had no chest constriction, I was able to breathe without having to think about it and after a day I had loads of energy back, and I feel so much better than I have for ten or more years.

Need to improve my relationship with my new consultant. Advice?
A previous consultant put me on
spiriva
, serevent and singulair, and I've been very slowly getting better over the last four months.

I honestly don't know how much more I can take ....
Thankfully my boyfriend was with me and went through everything with the doctor which is why I ended up coming away with something to help surpress the cough
Spiriva
Respimat and a 2 month review. I'm still feeling really low and still haven't been out of bed since Friday afternoon.
