Spiriva

Coughing and wheezing more after 10 days of spiriva. How long does it take to have full effect? Thanks

I was on a tiotropium inhaler powdered capsules but have been changed to the spiriva respimat fine mist inhaler. When I release the mist while breathing in it immediately makes me cough so basically nothing goes in. Has anyone else had this and does it settle?

Hi I’ve been on Spiriva 18 micro inhalation powder hard capsules for two and a half years now. I can’t seem to get any answers to my question of where does the tiny bit of the capsule go after the capsule has been pierced.

Hi I was diagnosed with asthma about 8 years ago and have been on Fostair, Spiriva for the last 3yrs after trying a number of other inhalers and montelukast, but over the past year and half I have had chest infections every two months which has taken at least 2 course of antibiotics and steroids each

I take spiriva i have that cough dont know what it is if you read the meds its like may cause asthma coughimg??????????? Things are improving feel better but can break out in cough Ger

I’ve been on Fostair 200/6 for a couple of years along with Salmol and Spiriva Respimat, Montelukast and Fexofenadine.

They recommended Spiriva respimat but my insurance won’t cover it. Then they recommended maybe adding Incruse Ellipta which is an ingredient In Trelegy or going with Trelegy. I am kinda hesitant because I don’t want my a fib to trigger.

I’ve got fairly bad asthma (fostair 100 mart x 8 puffs daily, montelukast, spiriva respimat, dymista nasal spray, fexofenadine, 4 short courses prednisolone this year) but have never had a bacterial chest infection before apart from earlier this year - which took 3 different antibiotics and weeks of

Trelegy Ellipta and Spiriva each day too. Montelukast early evening. The inhalers do work but not as well as they did I did have a covid and flu jab at the beginning of October. This is really bad and I will take in any advice, tips, hints +++ D

The pharmacist also offered to prescribe Spiriva. Not a chance after the trial I had in November-December 2023. That stuff doesn't like me. TBH, I'm kinda glad to be going back to a MART regime. After being MART for 6.5 years I was feeling a bit vulnerable without the extra steroid.

My 'normal' reading for my age, height, and sex, is 530, and my personal lowest is 200 and best is 450 so far (I have been taking readings since mid-July, when I first started using Spiriva Respimat; I'd been using Fostair for 6 years already).

Hi, I've been on Spiriva respimat for a while now. I know that I need a new inhaler device every 6 months but this option is no longer in my repeat medication and when I request one they just prescribe a new refill.

Im already on advair 500 with spiriva. does anyone else feel like this??

I am taking 2 x Spiriva in the morning, and 8 Fostair throughout the day. Montelukast in the evening along with an anti histamine as I have post nasal drip. The stranger thing is, the airway tightness gets worse at different times.

Does anyone use Trimbow and Spiriva together?

Hi everyone , I have been on a new inhaler Spiriva Resprimat 12 days and been really good , however the last few days it’s been an effort to breath and a chesty cough , also a stuffy nose . I’m not sure whether to stop it to see if symptoms go away , or if it’s a virus starting ? .

Had an asthma diagnosis for 8 years, recently told I have COPD, and prescribed Spiriva inhaler on top of Fostair. I noticed Boots had an offer on Omron peak flow meters, £14.95 so I got one, and now I'm taking readings morning when I get up and evenings before going to bed.
