Yeah I have salbutamol inhaler which I'm taking 2-4 puffs a day and it does it help for the period I need it. The wheezing started after surgery and I was diagnosed with asthma around the age of 8-9 and I'm now 45.
Its strange that your wheezing started after the procedure, is there anyway you could talk to your consultant and ask if this is normal, it could be that you have an infection. I have recently been diagnosed with overlap asthma and given Fostair nexthaler 200/6 which is a powder , this really worked wonders for me got rid of my wheezing and I must say I felt really good but sadly it gave me a cough so my gp prescribed Fostair that is not powdered. The chemist gave me Luforbec 100/6 which is supposedly the same as Fostair but cheaper and I have gone back to wheezing and feeling awful. The hospital are issuing a new prescription as she thinks it's because it is 100/6 instead of 200/6 , I personally think it's the Luforbec but will give it a try when it comes. I hope you find a solution to your wheezing x

Could it be hay fever? There's always something in the air most of the year. From February into summer it's tree pollen, then grass, and from August into October, it's fungal spores. Then there's house dust mites. I take Loratadine from February into October, but I still get runny eyes and tight chest sometimes.
Thanks everyone for replying. So I had an appointment with one of the consultants on Friday and had some tests again (feNO, spirometry). The feNO came back as 15 down from 61 in November 2023 and 41 and January 2024. They were happy with all the results.
The wheezing was bad on the day but there is no evidence of infection from the x-ray etc. I am still waiting for the blood and sputum results.
The consultant seems to think the wheezing could be triggered from the colomycin via nebuliser so has asked me to stop the using the nebuliser.
He also feels I could have post nasal drip and has prescribed me Fexofenadine (anti histamine).
I was originally taking trimbow but the team in Papworth told me I was on the wrong inhaler and put me on fostair and then put me on fostair nexthaler (powder version).
I had some bloods done in January at yeh asthma clinic and I have allergy to house dust mites.
