On the 11th Jan 2015, I decided I couldn't smoke anymore. For my health, for my finances and for my daughter.
With patches and gum I battled each day for almost 6 months
Do I miss it? Oh Yes. Will I ever smoke again? NO!
I have suffered with depression and anxiety, put on weight and struggled.
But it is so worth it. Keep battling lovely people.
If you are considering quitting DO IT. If you accidently fall off the wagon, then you haven't found the right way to give up, but at least you've had a little break from the demon.
Dont just quit, Become a non smoker.
Keep going, keep coming on this wonderful website.
Remember NOPE
Love

Congratulations Jim .. a milestone to be proud of! I keyed in on your words: "But it is so worth it." Thanks for the reminder because frankly, sometimes it seems not.
Thats so nice to read, and your quit has been very much like what I went through,
I think I'm ahead of you by a month and I'm still a misery arse but I'm putting that down to early 40's !!! Or probably didn't moan so much as I do know as smoking took up my time.
Hello Jim ,Brilliantly put ! well done & thanks for writing this post. These posts don't half help me seeing positivity off people who have already walked this path 😄 love the words
