7 Years quit πŸ˜€

On Jan 19, 2019 I reached my 7 year anniversary of quitting smoking.

One of the best things I ever did. I don't crave cigarettes, but I do crave the dopamine hit I used to get from smoking.

Fortunately, I get my dopamine fix from a healthy source now: yoga.

All the best to those starting the quit journey. It is possible and a better life is the reward.πŸ˜€

That's brilliant, can I ask did you go cold turkey also did you use the nosmokingday website.

I was 10 years Christmas day and like you don't regret it and definitely don't miss it.

Keep on that great road

Good to hear from you AlexandriaUK , hope you are keeping well - as far as I am aware Nonico stopped with the aid of champix and is one of our long term members especially at the start of their journey :)

Yes, Roisin and Alexandria - I quit using Champix and the website. The website was very helpful as it taught me that we quit smoking in the unconscious - once I grasped that - the rest was history. I think I managed to convince the sub-conscious that smoking is bad. That's why I often recommend hypnosis for those wanting to quit - I think that's where it happens. Congratulations on 10 years Alexandria - fantastic
