3 years ago I quit smoking I never thought it was possible that I would actually quit. I still have dreams of me smoking though, not sure if they'll ever go away. But I've not had one single puff in 3 years.
I smoked for 10 or 11 years before I quit. And I went cold turkey from the start. I knew that I would never quit if I stayed having nicotine at all.
I did, at the time of my quit, join another no smoking forum, but it seems to be nonexistent now. So I thought I would come here and wish anybody who is on his or her journey the best of luck. You can do this

I am 5 weeks in after 35 years (OMG that long!!) as a smoker and I am determined. It feels like a roller coster ride right now. Excercise helps. Lots of yoga and swimming and I can run much easier these days. I just push through it. Had a good cry today for no reason?! but I am ok again now. Thanks for your encouraging post! X
Welcome to our community Scarlet123 and congratulations on over 5 weeks smoke free, can you let me know your exact stop date for your accurate milestone badges when you get a chance?
Roisin, my stop date was 4 May (this year). Woo hoo! Still going strong. This site is super supportive, such interesting posts and thanks for your support! Xx
