Need advice about fistula please
I had a
nerve
block
in my arm that they told me would last for 18 to 24 hours and it was already starting to wear off while I was in recovery. A few hours later and it was almost completely worn off. The nurse said they didn’t give me enough of the
nerve
block
.

New knee pain
I have an appointment booked for next week with the GP and currently waiting for a
nerve
block
injection as I'm under pain management. My question is, has anybody had similar to what I am experiencing and what is the cause? Thanks for reading 🙂

He also had a
nerve
block
. Currently on 30 grams oxycodone every 4 hours. And has two 100 m fentanyl patches. Very weak from being in the hospital and now sleeps a lot with no appetite. I’m giving him protein drinks and trying to get him up to walk several times/day but it’s a struggle.

When Your AF Meds Crash the Pain Relief Party
I am aware that a
nerve
block
is typically applied during the operation, but I am particularly concerned about pain management returning home.

Treatment has hit a wall. I can not sit without pain.
On top of that, the nerve blocks I have been getting to try to help this pain for years, like pudendal
nerve
block
, trigger point injections into my pelvic floor, si joint injections, and caudal injections — I have been getting them since August as well; nothing has worked to improve the pain at all

They will be doing a
nerve
block
. Hopefully it will work. Maybe pain management might be helpful for you. I have found that the neuropathy thing confounds doctors. I also will be starting Trugap soon after 6 years on Ibrance. Oh the fun never stops. Also have hip pain. Onc thinks it's cancer.

They had to do a
nerve
block
to send me home. So for the knee replacements months later, I actually had to go back to pramipexole for almost 4 weeks before surgery. All of that to say, how do you move from this combination over to a low dose opiate?

NERVE BLOCK INJECTION
Ive got neurological itch, which I am putting down to fibromyalgia, and I'm booked in for
nerve
block
injections. Im worried it could possibly make things worse, as my body tends to over react to treatments with more pain.

The plot thickens - unexpected turns
I explained that because I am under spinal consultant for neck issues, I have made an appointment for follow-up as this guy had suggested trying a
nerve
block
to see if that sorts out the headache. Rheumy felt that was a good idea. He suggested referral to a neurologist if that does not help.

Pain management pudendal neuralgia
He said if meds don’t work then
nerve
block
& if still no joy that I would have to see a specialist which would be miles away as no one local deals with PN. I am getting worried regarding timescale & my osteopath thinks that the nerve is compressed somewhere.

Need Relief
I have also had a Celiac Plexis
Nerve
Block
which provided some pain relief (~20%?). I am almost always in mild to moderate pain with severe flareups on occasion (every 4 weeks or so). I have had no pain medication prescribed outside of the ED and my quality of life is not good/poor.

I have arranged nerve conduction studies myself to see if it is
nerve
damage causing this, if so maybe a
nerve
block
....I don't know.....but I have to take over my treatment now as nobody gives a shit anymore. I have started acupunture and reflexology to see if that helps.
