post hip op
has anyone had a hip replacement and been far worse afterwards. Sooo depressed. Not sleeping. In constant pain. 50 times worse. Original pain but with many more in different areas. I’m sure the physio did me some harm. Anyone else had this.

Hi all, new to this vile condition
Just a little background, I have various conditions, who said getting older was time for enjoyment! So just to quickly narrow it down, I have asthma, under active thyroid, high blood pressure, Afib plus Mitral Valve regurgitation and during the past year diagnosed as needing a full hip replacement

Hello Everyone, I haven't been here for a while, I thought I'd add a bit more info about my rls journey. I'm 51 now & have had rls since I was a child. After slowly coming off years of using the awful dopamine agonists, (pramipexole/ropinerole), thanks to the fantastic advice here, I'm now getting up

HUCT/Stem Cells for Joint Repair
I assist my brother with his 4 Regenerative Joint Repair Clinics. At the clinics, they inject joints (knees, hips, shoulders, ankles, etc) with Human Umbilical Cord Tissue (obtained from healthy babies born of healthy mothers, also know as Whartons Jelly). I'm always inspired by the number of patients

osteoarthritis in hips and knees
I just turned 61 in June. In January I started limping, and that quickly progressed to needing a cane, at which point I got a hip x-ray. I was totally blindsided by the diagnosis of bone-on-bone damage in the right hip and almost as bad in the left. I started using a walker about a month ago. Unfortunately

on an upward trajectory after busy summer, even year
Busy summer: - 2nd hip replacement end of June - MRI in early August - Ocrevus also in early August after 9-10 months to give room for hip surgey. I had started to feel that 2 months w/o exercise and 9 months w/o Ocrevus was giving room for the MS to progress: fatigue, stiffness, muscle weakness

week 5 run 3 with a total hip replacemebt
Hello again I wasn’t sure I would ever run again following my hip replacement let alone run consistently for 20 minutes!!!!! I have a warm up and warm down programme and strengthening with pilates and swimming which I think is helping. I have also repeated a few of the weeks until I feel more confident

Am I right to be angry?
Hi, I have a really long story that I need to try and shorten without leaving out details.... I need someone to tell me if I am right to be angry. At the age of 21 my life went down hill so fast! Before it all went to pot, I was so active. I took a year out of Uni to get some real world experience

Fluid on Lung
Hi All, I started having a pain on my right side under the ribs, about 2 month ago.I was wondering if I'd got gallstones and the dull ache wouldn't go away! So a few week ago I popped into my A&E to have it checked out. They sent me to SDEC department, were they did blood tests, Ultra sound on my leg

Hello everyone
I found out I had osteoporosis in 2018. I had a hip replacement, but was left with unbearable back pain. Eventually after many fruitless doctors visits I had a MRI scan, this showed I had five spinal fractures. It took many months for the bad pain to go, and it has left me with mobility problems. I also
