He was still in

with a cuffed tracheostomy due to having no swallow and vocal cord paralysis. Fast forward quite a few months and we are still in a very similar position, unfortunately.

Our grandson was born at just 25 weeks and was in
intensive
care
for 3 months so it was this that inspired her. She was never really into running until she went to live in Australia and never thought she could run well but she has trained hard for this and is definitely now a runner.

At this time in 2013 he was still in
intensive
care
and, although out of his induced coma, he was showing very few signs of movement. For months we had no idea what kind of future he might have, if he survived.

Amiodarona- I’ve been on it a week and feel very shaky, almost like tremors inside. Just wondering if I should continue with it ?
I am on holiday in Spain had a bad AFib attack with RVR ended up in
intensive
care
. Long story short they put me on Amiodarona and I’m feeling very fatigued still (8 days after discharge) and very shaky.

In need of a hug
I am sitting with my dad tonight in hospital. He is getting palliative care for inoperable brain bleeds. The night is so dark (no moonlight) and the feelings of gloom and helplessness seems darker and heavier than the day before.

Moving on to hospice care
many of you have heard from me before at this point. My dad (68, diagnosed almost 2 years ago) had his last appointment with his MO two weeks ago or so. Been through the wringer and back over the past month. Scans showed progression. Had bone only mets and now showing inflammation in my lungs. Had more scans and genomic testing for mutations and it turns out I have no mutations that have been studied yet. My oncologist is putting me on Xeloda and says
