Potassium levels/ cholesterol
Sorry to hear about your daughter, but glad that she is now home and recovering. It's good that your kidney levels are back to where they should be and hope that continues. All the best.
I'm glad your daughter its improving and returns to full health soon. I have CKD following an AKI five years ago now, and was told at the start to use ordinary salt and no to low salt , salt as its higher in potassium and sodium than the normal stuff. My GFR is 27 which is hugely improved from 8 but my magnesium, sodium, and a dozen other things are all checked every three months by Nephrologist so if yours aren't, then ask your GP to do regular blood tests unless your Nephrologist has said you don't need them. But as far as I'm aware RA and CKD are not linked and mine was sheer bad luck and a reaction to a drug which is extremely, extremely rare, so please if anyone reading this thinks that they might have kidney issues get the GRF checked even if your RA score is good. Most regular RA blood tests do the GFR anyway so it's usually done routinely but better to ask and be sure for everyone. And it's vital to catch CKD early as like most bodily things our kidneys age but we do really need them. I always think when seeing the plastic faces of some popular public figures that the face might look 40 agin but that 60 year old body inside is still 60. lol xx
