gall bladder removal with ICD

my husband is in poor health with ICD cardiomyopathy, AF, breathlessness, abdominal aneurysm bowel problems.

He recently spent one week in intensive care with kidney failure and infected gall bladder resulting in sepsis,

He awaits consultation regarding risks of removal of gall bladder when infection has improved.

Should we consider removal. My concern is risks of sepsis reoccurrence if surgery is not performed. Any thoughts welcome
