IPF Blood Tests
recently had an extensive blood test, in preparation for starting medicine that is supposed to delay the IPF. About 4 items were slightly outside the range. Not unusual. A few days later another item was added. Aspergillosis igG, a reading of 82, the max limit is 40. I have been told i don’t need any

Mom Recently Diagnosed 😢 Wondering about Speech Cloning/Voice Banking
Hello everyone. My mom was diagnosed with PSP on May 31st of this year but has been experiencing symptoms for about two and a half years now. She is only 56 and this disease feels unbearable in its cruelty and its early onset. We have been very lucky so far that she still has her speech and personality

Ongoing rash with extreme itching for 3 months
Has anyone experienced rashes on upper back, chest, abdomen and legs and seen a dermatologist about it? Husband has had this ongoing for over 3 months now. First time we visited urgent care and they gave him a methylprednisolone pack and it helped a bit but still came back. We had a dermatology consult

bronchiectases and fungal infection
Hello all, I have bronchiestaces amongst other things and I’ve been coughing up small amounts of blood for a few weeks. After a trip to A&e I was given a sputum test which came back saying I had a fungal infection somewhere in my respiratory tract. Has anybody else had this? thank you

electric toothbrush, and Trigeminal Neuralgia
hello everyone, does anyone use an electric toothbrush and they also have trigeminal neuralgia?, I stopped using my electric toothbrush in fear of the pressure causing/triggering the pain. Now I feel as though my teeth are not as clean.

Alvesco 160
Hi. the doctor changed my inhaler to Alvesco 160, one dose twice a day. Does anyone of you have experience with this inhaler? How long does it take for the inhaler to start working? And I wonder if this is a sufficient dose if I have severe asthma? Thank you for all your replies. Regards

Alcohol
My husband has AF but after two ablations things seem thankfully quite stable. The only problem is that since he is taking Dabigatran he is no longer able to enjoy alcohol - red wine tastes like vinegar and also causes gastric issues., as well as whiskey and beer. He is sorry he can no longer enjoy

Hand, Foot & Mouth
Be aware of the childhood desease HF&M. My 2 year old grand twins caught HF&M last year.Unfortunately I caught it from them & it was a nightmare. Because of the thickness of my skin due to SS, the spots & sores could not break out on the surface of my skin. They errupted below the skin on my hands

Help with steroid induced hyperglycaemia
My story is in my bio as it’s rather long! Is there anyone out there managing Steroid Induced Hyperglycaemia? As I started on 70mg and had to stay on it for 6 weeks after diagnosis, I quickly developed SIH and have found it a daily battle to control it despite being on a very low Carb diet indeed! Diabetic

ToeNail fungus treatment and Methotrexate
I’ve recently been recommended Curanail by my footcare practitioner for a toe nail fungus condition. I wondered if any one has used this while taking weekly methotrexate, and sometimes Naproxen. My blood test results are all fine and RA is well controlled atm. Looking at the instructions it can take

itch left upper back
a while back someone posted the name of a condition relating to autoimmune illnesses where you have itching on your upper back, left hand side, no rash. It sometimes accompanies autoimmune illnesses. I use Sarna lotion which is what I seem to recall the poster using as well. Anyone remember the name

Itch Relief?
While vacationing last winter, I developed an unbearable itch on my feet. They felt like they were on fire and I was itching so hard I was afraid I’d tear the skin off. I grabbed some aloe vera (for sunburn) and rubbed it on my feet. Instant relief. Certainly easier than jumping in the shower! Hope

Work on healing balance
My balance is no longer a major issue. I am working on improving it. I do work on my core. I consider my balance issues to be a neurological issue. I balance on both feet or one foot and focus on one point. Then I move my eyes back and forth in focus and same up and down. I also move my head to change
