Be aware of the childhood desease HF&M. My 2 year old grand twins caught HF&M last year.Unfortunately I caught it from them & it was a nightmare. Because of the thickness of my skin due to SS, the spots & sores could not break out on the surface of my skin. They errupted below the skin on my hands & feet, which was rather painful. My skin & nails turned black & eventually I lost the top layer of skin & all my nails. I also had sores in my mouth & nose, that was very painful. My finger nails have grown back & my toe nails are nearly back to normal

A word of advice to avoid many weeks of miscomfort please stay clear of children if they catch HF&M.

Sorry you had such a rough time with HF&M. Very useful advice, I have young grandchildren so will be wary if they catch it. I remember my children catching it when they were young. Thank you and best wishes.
