I am hearing the high pitched sing of tenitous and the gruff snore of OH as well as his hearing aids which are making the most ghastly noise., Help I really need so quiet or some soothing noise my ear is now sending morse noises. dot dot dot dot dash ............eek distract me please!

We used to have a dressing up box when I was little the usual a Cowboy, a red indian, a spanish lady, little bow peep, plus furs and gloves and varying hats. There was of course the obligatory shoes Mummys old steletos with very pointy fronts they were terribly high to a small child I forced my feet to the front and wobbled about. My favourite was dressing as a witch what a did you all like ? xgins

Hands gins a pair of fluffy ear muffs with Garfield on each side... Sorry never been able to part with them... But your need is greater than mine

I had a nurses outfit complete with cape - I have loved capes ever since and have a couple now.

I had a long frock that I used to love flouncing about in - I were long skirts and dresses now.

I'm glad I didn't have a space suit!

My friends and I used to gather up old net curtains and dress up as 'brides' well, we didn't know any better at the age of 10

This takes me back years... my friend and I used to dress up in clothes belonging to neighbours and family. I had Aunty Dorothy's faux silk 1940s wedding dress and the mauve taffeta bridesmaid's dress that went with it , plus I think what dates to the late fifties or sixties sun dresses with full skirts , structured bodices and matching little boleros all in retro fabrics. Kept us happy for hours. And we tottered around in the high heeled shoes which made a row on the concrete garden path so much so that my grandfather confiscated them.
