Flip two yrs had recent blood test creatine 81 umol, urea 4.2 , sodium normal, egfr, 67. Now CKD stage two, how.,? Everything in normal except creatine,!!

Dr phoned last night wants me to take Daplaflozin ..couldnt quite catch what she said. I have never spoke or seen her before think she is new. She said the consultant wants me to take them before I see him in January , she asked about seeing him last time I told her I have Never seen a Nephrologist

I have read that camomile tea can reduce elevated levels of creatine; as he drinks that several times a day, should he reduce his intake?

I saw an article on Web MD that referenced from many studies positive effects of creatine on Parkinson's - everything from balance to tiredness and musclewasting (sarcopenia) in older adults. Has anyone tried it? What dosage? Combined with what other supplements / drugs?

I ran into some literature about creatine monohydrate helping with Parkinson's Anyone has experience on this?

Besides frequent resistance training, has anyone supplemented with creatine powder? Any benefit or side effects or counter-reactions?

My creatine soared and I had this procedure last week. I still have the tubes and drains. I feel overwhelmed. They are scheduling a PET scan as they see no blockage now. But they are unsure what led to this. I hate having the drains and what this might mean for QOL

Urea & electrolytes abnormal. eGFR using creatine abnormal. I have a telephone appointment with the GP to discuss these, the results are after giving a blood sample a month after my first gout attack.

anyone know if creatine monohydrate helps with osteoporosis and locally advanced prostate cancer I have had treatment rt/ht 2014/2016,but my testosterone has never recovered and now I have severe osteoporosis osteosarcopenia I am now only 8st which is not good, anyone else in similar position.

With stage 3(b) kidney disease, I have elevated protein in the urine, as shown by Albumin : Creatine ratio result. (I presume that's whats shows the protein level in the urine, not 100% sure).

At the same time other than creatine of 1.95, most of my labs show no problems with protein, potassium, phosphorous, calcium, etc. Has anyone else reached stage 4 without any other indications? Thanks

acid, I am thinking of doing 5mg of creatine a day, I have been reading mixed results regarding it could increase dht,anyone had any problems. cheers.

Had a massive allergic reaction to flecainide which put me in hospital for 10 days last year. digoxin helps but only a bit and my kidneys have now decided they don’t like all these drugs so am being monitored for creatine levels. Oh, just for the icing on the cake, I have COPD as well.

So thats 3b CKD now , however my creatine levels are still high but has gone a little lower does anyone no how to get it within normal range. Sandra P

Chief culprit was creatine, which, apparently, is known to sometimes interfere with eGFR test results. Monday my eGFR test was repeated; the result was a score of 80.
