Hi everyone

How are you all doing today?

Was my 26th birthday yesterday, my sister bought me a gorgeous wee hamster(coz that's what I wanted lol) my daughter called her Milly and she is the cutest wee hamster I've ever seen 😁 xxx

You obviously haven' t seen mine called Pandora!! , they are such great pets, i have loved and lost a lot over the years and cried my eyes out every time they pass away !! But at least I know while they are with me they are well pampered!!

They like you to talk to them when they are out and about, and they have such different but funny characteristics !! I made mine a fleece hammock a few weeks ago and she loves it!!!

They really do bring joy in your life!! I had m first hamster at 20 and now I am 50 so have been " mummy" to a lot!

I had one as a child, and I saw a fascinating programme last evening where it showed a hamster emptying out nuts from its cheeks, utterly amazing how much it had stored in there. They are wonderful to watch aren't they ...... time wasters, but so worth it 👍🏻😃😃😃😃😃

I am in charge of cleaning and cuddling fenbadger, my daughter is only 3 but she will help out 😁 yeah electricjaws I have had a few over the years, so sad when they pass, my last one Smurf was a crabbit nippy wee bum lol but Milly is the total opposite to him, she loves being held and petted and will let everyone hold her and pet her, when I first got her yesterday though she keep squawking everytime I spoke to her, is that normal? I've never heard a hamster squawk before but she has been fine all day today she I've spoke to her, maybe she was just scared yesterday coz it was her first day with me? Xxx

She will get used to you some are more skittish than others and we do like to see pics if possible xx

I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you a belated happy birthday, and I hope that you had a wonderful day. Your hamster sounds lovely. When I was a young man I had a Siberian hamster (light brown and white), and I called him Spartacus!
