Buserelin

Hi on cycle attempt 7 here, first time ever with Buserelin given from day 21 for down reg. however I’m now on day 31 and still no sign of my period. The clinic said to call to arrange a scan for day 3. Has anyone done this before? How long did you take Buserelin?

On the trasnfer day, I got trigger injection Buserelin. i have been getting positive lines from Day 5 from light lines to current day progressing to darker lines now am worried that it might be due to buserelin that am getting positive result can anyone help me?

I took Buserelin as my trigger. Can anyone explain if this would the beginning of a new cycle? I’ve had to freeze all due to OHSS. Any information on withdrawal bleeds and periods after egg collection would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I'm currently doing the above nasal spray for my down regulation as I was told there is a nationwide shortage of buserelin which I used in my first cycle. I started on Saturday 4th May and was told I should get a period in around a week but still no period or signs of it.

We are leaning more towards medicated which entails Prostap, Progynova, Buserelin & Cycolgest. Curious if anyone else has experienced this and what to expect?? TIA ❣️

Hi, I have been exposed to chicken pox a lot whilst taking my buserelin for my down regulation. I have a scan on Friday to check how my down regulation is going. I will inform them of the chicken pox but just wondered if people thought it would impact this cycle.

I had a fresh transfer during my first cycle so wasn’t really aware of the timings for an FET, which seems miles away: I haven’t had my withdrawal bleed yet and have to wait for next cycle, then start injecting buserelin from day 21….

I’m starting my third round of IVF next Monday & this time they have changed my meds from Buserelin & Menopur to Syneral & Meriofert. Just wondering if anyone else has made this switch & what results they saw? Thanks.

I normally have Buserelin but there’s a shortage . Doctor or nurse will be giving it to me later today, is it really awful , is there a massive difference between zoladex and prostab? And any tips / advice? Thanks

This time we did oestrogen priming ( which did seem to get us more even growth and more eggs) and short protocol Pergoveris (300 FSH 150 LH) and Ganirelix then double trigger HCG 5000 and buserelin. I wonder if the LH use for first time in this protocol didn’t do my egg quality any favours?

Has anyone else been really ill on Buserelin? If so, any tips? Thanks so much.

Have been recommended Buserelin but there is a national shortage. Drs seem keen for us to use this as responses weren’t great in previous cycles. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to source Buserelin? I have a private prescription. Please DM if you know of anywhere.

I started buserelin 0.5 ml Jan 21, Jan 25 I got my first faint line on a pregnancy test which was a miracle as I’ve been infertile for 4 years I’m 29 years old. I messaged my clinic they said continue until beta test.

I started Buserelin and Norothisterone both on the 22/12/23 stopped the Norothisterone on the 28/12/23 it is now 6 days later and I haven’t started my period. I haven’t used both at the same time before is this normal? On my schedule it states period should start between/during the 29th - 4th.

Buserelin is out of stock at the moment so wasn't sure if cetrotide would be something I could ask for instead?

I googled and it’s instead of buserelin injections. Does this mean I might not have to do any injections this time? I’m okay about needles but a nasal spray does appeal more 😀

Currently started downregulating for my next FET and i need to start my Buserelin injections tomorrow. I cant remember if i should do this morning or evening. My last cycle i didn't get Buserelin due to the shortage. What have you all done?

Ive started my Buserelin injections already and have a down reg scan booked for 8th Feb. They have also suggested a saline scan for the following month. I had one of these after a MC, but does anybody know why i might need another one?

Hi, I'm taking my trigger tonight and was meant to take just Gonasi but today they asked me to take both Gonasi and 2ml Buserelin at the same time instead. Has anyone here had both together? How was it? Also, if no one minds me asking, why did you have to have both? I'm not sure why mine changed
