Has anyone had any fluid in the uterus issues. I am currently on 4th cycle ivf. Had a laparoscopy to remove swollen fallopian tubes due to fluid in both. I am now on a monitoring cycle and have been on estrogen tablets. Since then, this fluid has returned. So cant proceed with any embryo transfer until they find out why this fluid is still there. I have also had a hysteroscopy and all seemed ok. I am finding this all very frustrating, every time I think, yes where moving forward, there's another hurdle. Has anyone else had this problem and was it rectified? Thank you ladies x

I had this last year before trying to start my 5th cycle and for months it kept being postponed so I understand your frustration. I had 2 hysteroscopy’s and after removing a polyp on the 2nd one and having a scratch my consultant said once I started the cycologest it would help shift the remaining fluid, I also had acupuncture which I know not everyone believes in but I do think it helped me as I know have a little boy who’s nearly 4 months from that transfer.
I really hope it resolves soon for you, good luck x
Thank you E_05, that's really helpful. My doctor wants to do a biopsy to see if the maybe any infection in the uterus first and also going to have the scratch and hopefully get to the bottom of this.
Its really nice to know you had a good outcome. It does give me hope. It's such a tough journey and so expensive but we will keep going.
