Fibroids

Hi I’m on my fourth and final frozen embryo transfer and when I went for my pre scan the consultant said I had 2 fibroids. I already knew about one from first round I had but now I have 2.

Hi all, I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 endo with fibroids and i’ve had one burst. I’m awaiting medical attention but I won’t get any for approx 6 hours. Any tips on lessening pain until then? Thanks!!

Has anyone experienced a mass / protrusion in their upper abdomen (right side) that was endo, fibroids or ovarian cysts? Or a mis-placed uterus or ovaries due to endo? I was diagnosed with fibroids / cysts on my right ovary 2 years ago. Now panicking it’s grown that much, it must be cancer.

a bit of back story, in 2018 I was diagnosed with fibroids. I had excessive amounts of free fluid in my pelvic area. I had this removed along with some endo and it’s returned. I don’t know what to do. Would a hysterectomy solve it?

At this point new pair of fibroids did grow. now 3 months later they have grown even more, and I am lost whether we continue with FET or need fibroids treatment. if someone can recommend a doctor in UK that is dealing with similar issues. I just don want to have up on a baby.

I had surgery to removed fibroids last year and since then each vaginal swab has come back positive. I can’t start my FET until I test negative but none of the antibiotics have worked to get rid of it.

Now I have known fibroids and this could raise it and am waiting for a CT scan to completely rule out OC. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

I had a hysterectomy 5 months ago for Adenomyosis/fibroids. They now think I have Endometriosis as my pain has flared up since starting hrt. I'm on Tibolone but I'm still in so much pain. Has anyone had experience of this and have they found sequential hrt better?

I had laparoscopic hysterectomy over 10 weeks ago due to fibroids and adenomyosis, my recovery has gone well. All of my external scars are healed. However last night we had sex for the first time, with lubrication, and there was very sharp pain at the top of the vagina, and I bled afterwards.

Do any of you have other gynaecological conditions like me, which includes ovarian cysts, fibroids and endometriosis? Very worried over here and I guess I'm reaching out to hear other people's experiences at this stage in the process.

I have always had heavy and painful periods.I had Adenomyosis and fibroids. Following the op I was blissfully pain-free for 8 weeks. Once I started hrt my pains came back with avengance :( I saw gynae again, who said that it was indicative of microscopic endometriosis.

Ended up in hospital the last 2 times. recently to get answers I got a private MRI which shows adenemiosis fibroid uterus multiple fibroids kissing ovaries stuck to uterus with endometriomas on both ovaries.

Hi,I wonder if anyone can help me, I had an ultrasound today and was told I have endometriosis, fibroids, a cyst on my left ovary and my right ovary is stuck to my uterus.

Hello Everyone, I have recently had an MRI scan that shows endometriosis, fibroids & adhesions both around the womb & rectum. As the disease is present in areas closer to the rectum, I have been advised, I can no longer be seen by my current gynaecologist but rather a BSGE centre only.

That lasted a month then stopped I have multiple fibroids. I am post menopausal Could fibroids cause this symptom

I’ve had a procedure on my fibroids before and the thought of waiting and having surgery for that again is daunting as well and they say it could do more damage than good. It’s all a bit overwhelming. Plus I’m turning 40 in a few weeks!

I'm 50 and I had a hysterectomy 4 months ago for fibroids. A laparoscopy ruled out Endo last year. I was pain free for the first time in months.

Assuming the hysteroscopy doesn't find anything else, the scale of my fibroids mean a hysterectomy is the most likely course of treatment. But I don't know if I can handle the daily irregular flow that makes daily life almost impossible between then and now.

I’m coming up 55 I was taking decapeptyl injections to shrink fibroids over the last couple of years and to avoid surgery All was well no bleeding on jab and fibroids didn’t bleed and shrunk I went back for my check up and to come off the injection in October of last year It is now February and

I've just had a second ultrasound since my last surgery in January where I opted to have all of my endo, fibroids, cysts removed but not have a hysterectomy. The pain I was struggling with hasn't gone away, so I'm more and more convinced that it's the adenomyosis causing it.
