Utrogestan

I am on 100 Sandrena , 100 utrogestan and testogel sachet ( 1 for 8 days). These are my results. Unfortunately, I am gaining weight...and losing /thinning hair 17 Beta-Estradiol – 52.1 pg/mL Progesterone – 1.640 ng/mL Testosterone – 1.430 ng/mL Any advice if these are ok?

My gynaecologist has prescribed 2 x pumps of oestrogel and 2 x 100 utrogestan everyday. Is this what others are on? also, doesn’t anyone take testosterone on it? My HRT regime used to include testosterone but not sure I should continue it having started Synarel.

I have Utrogestan vaginal pessary, so I'll take my one first thing in the morning and then transfer at 11.30am. Or should I check with the clinic that I'm still supposed to take one? Having IVF makes you second guess and doubt everything!

As such, it’s incredibly difficult to judge when I’m in my luteal phase and to start taking Utrogestan.

Also, with Utrogestan being 3 x 200mg a day and Cyclogest (which I’d used previously) being 2 x 400mg a day – it seems like it’s a smaller dose?

For that transfer, my clinic had prescribed 800 mg Progesteron Besins (vaginal Utrogestan) and 100 mg oral Utrogestan per day which I started taking 5 days before the embryo transfer (transfer done on the 6th day of progesterone).

Estrogel and utrogestan. In January I started to experience extreme nausea as soon as I stopped the 2 weeks of 200mg Utrogestan. It became so debilating that my GP referred me to the women's health clinic. The doctor there said as my periods were becoming so few I could try daily utrogestan 100mg.

I had total Hysterectomy in March and now I have been prescribed by my Consultant: Evorel patch 25 (twice a week) all month and Utrogestan 100 mg taking only for 2 weeks and after stop it for 2 weeks. Are you taking Utrogestan with a break like this?

I take Utrogestan pessaries 3x a day. I’m used to them by now as it’s our second round. But I always notice that when I go to the toilet after, it looks like most of it comes out. Is this normal? X

calcium containing products lower the effects of levothyroxine.Some say you can eat these products after four hours but that seems like an awful long time and would end up being closer to lunch time.I really want to take my levothyroxine at night but can hardly find any information on taking it with utrogestan

I was 30.8 prior to transfer, started taking Lubion alongside utrogestan x 3 and on transfer day my levels were at 55. I am 5 weeks pregnant and had a little bleeding a few days back so had my levels retested and I’m now at 41. My hcg seems to be okay but I am getting both retested on Monday.

Hi there, I’m doing an ERA test soon and have been given oral utrogestan to take for my progesterone. For my FET I’ll be taking Cyclogest on a higher dose. So my question is does the medication need to be identical? I’m doing both at different clinics hence the slight variation.

When I had my injection in February and the gel and Utrogestan tablet. It was horrendous, but to be fair I did not give it a chance, as inly had one injection. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks 😊

Hi all , I have been on Decapeptyl injections now for 6 weeks alongside hrt ( everol 50 patches and Utrogestan 100mg continuously ) Iam currently having brown spotting and all my Endo symptoms again for the past 3 days Has anyone else had this ? Will it settle the longer iam on the injections ?

So I started my oestrogen patches on the first day of my totally regular 28 day cycle and my utrogestan tablets on day 15 foe 14 days as prescribed but on day 21 (the first day of my holiday- oh lucky me!) my period turned up and stuck around for a good 6 days.

Aware you can only take Utrogestan vaginally (I have been on Cylogest previously that you can take vaginally and rectally). I’ve got a transfer tomorrow morning at 10am and the clinic haven’t said anything about whether I’m ok to take the early morning pessary vaginally in the morn. Any advice?

I’m taking Utrogestan 2x daily and Lubion 1 x daily and 3 x Progynova - could it be the meds?!

I heard that utrogestan can be used vaginally. I take 100mg tablet every night. Just wondering if I can take it vaginally every other days or I have to take it vaginally everyday?
