Hi all !!!

I'm stage 4 endometriosis patient and had a laparoscopy surgery 15months ago and I get lower back pain and stomach pain during my periods .I've heard of TENS machine is it suitable for everyone and can anyone suggest which brand TENS machine i should buy . Are deep heat period pain heat patches a good option to try for back pain ??

Thanks in advance.

I use an ovira tens machine. It wasn't cheap but I like that it is quite small, you can buy longer lead for it too which is useful.

hi Chotu5: I use iReliev brand tens unit. I purchased from Amazon USA as I’m in USA but I imagine similar available on AmazonUK. I also use disposable heat pads they stick to inside of pants and press the delicious heat right into my abdomen. I too have severe/stage 4 endo and my pain is disabling at this point. I almost missed my son’s basketball game but the tens got me through! Was all my pain gone? Nope. I still couldn’t sit down due to pain. I stood near the gym exit in case I had to make a hasty retreat to my car. But I turned the intensity of the tens up all the way and was able to ride the waves of pain better. I’d say it reduced the episode from 60 mins of intense pain to 25 mins of moderate pain and 5 minutes of intense pain. Which is a huge improvement for me and allowed me to do what I love which is be there for my kid. Best wishes to you.
