Hi, I have endometriosis and adenomyosis and pretty much in constant pain. I am already on pain medication and morphine. I was looking into getting a tens machine but I don’t even know where to begin looking.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you in advance 😊

Hi there....I have an ovira tens machine. Not sure how much it helps- but it certainly distracts me from my pain. Customer service is good too. What I would say is that sometimes I feel like I need 2 - one for my back and one for my tummy as it seems to focus on the one area.
Hiya, sorry to hear you’re in a lot of pain. I find the tens machines do help a bit, even if it is just a distraction. I’ve got two, the Easy at Home one from Amazon (around £25) and also the MYOBI (£70 ish). Both are good, the MYOBI is good, as it offers a heat function as well as the tens xx
Can I please ask what type of morphine you are on and how much/often do you take it. I’m on shortech and take 1 10ml tablet twice a day. But when my proper nasty symptoms kick in it’s just not doing the job anymore. I have a tens machine with 4 pads you can put on back and front but I don’t feel it helps with the deep deep almost burning pain with endo. Iv ask ppl before about morphine but it seems a lot of women don’t want to talk about it or admit they are using it because of the stigma of addiction x
It’s not been an absolute game-changer for me, but I think it does help a bit! For me, it’s similar to when I use a heat pack / hot water bottle - it doesn’t resolve things, but it’s comforting. It also lasts ages and is really easy to wear, so far more practical than heat!
