After waiting 3 years of been in absolute pain, and been told I wasn’t allowed the laparoscopy due to been to young as I’m only 18. I’ve now been told I’m allowed it doing.
I’ve got my pre assessment on the 5th of January and I’m really worried.
Can anyone help me to let me know what they’ll do when I have the pre assessment?
Thanks ladies

Nothing to worry about is my answer they just check your blood pressure, height, weight, etc and ask you some questions to see if you are fit enough to undergo the surgery and the general anesthesia that comes with it. It's more of a health check than anything
Good luck with the lap, I'm having mine on Thursday this week! Xx
Hi dont worry they will just check your blood pressure heart pressure family's medical history 😮 For me I had to do a swab test up my nose and in my groin but I was behind a curtain it was easy the thing I worried about was them taking my blood 😮
Thank you hun, and tbh I’m used to them taking my blood it’s all they practically do tbh, in the past 3 week I’ve had my blood done 4 times on Friday x
Thank you, I’m just worried cause I’m in my first year at uni and I don’t really wanna miss time or try and get deadline extension, don’t know how I’m going to cope with it, it all just worries me xx
