Today was a very busy day for me and the DEXCOM (when it wasn't having its issues). For most of the day starting at lunch time and all of the afternoon hours, I had spent time with my brother, his wife and their son (my nephew). We went out for lunch and got Mexican food. Very good.

After having lunch, I had done my lunch time insulin and saw on the DEXCOM that my blood sugar at the time was in the upper 300s. This was after being on the fritz while I had been eating earlier. This wasn't the only time during the day that the DEXCOM wasn't reporting any information.

After I had gone to do my lunch time shot, my brother, his wife, my nephew and I all went to Baltimore to go see the fish at the National Aquarium. I took a picture that I'm including with this posting tonight.

While at the Aquarium, I looked at my DEXCOM and saw that the numbers kept bouncing between being extremely high (over 400) and close to lower 300s. The other thing odd that kept happening while we had been at the Aquarium with the DEXCOM was, there were times when the arrows kept either disappearing or not be there at all. The arrows when they had been present, kept going crazy. One minute the arrows would be angling up while the next minute I would see an arrow going straight down. This was not good. The only good thing that I could do with DEXCOM while in the Aquarium was, put in the exercise time I had done by doing the walking around for the afternoon.

After dinner out, the DEXCOM had gone on the fritz, again. It finally came back around 8:10 pm. I did the calibration a few minutes after that to make sure the receiver would keep functioning and I wouldn't have done a test for nothing. In an odd way, I can't wait to switch this sensor out tomorrow after work since this one has been acting very odd since Friday. I guess, I'll see what happens before bed tonight!

More to come soon. Keep on reading! Enjoy the rest of your day/evening!

Más venir pronto. ¡Siga leyendo! ¡Disfrute del resto de su día/tarde!

OMG, the DEXCOM sounds like hard work. I know it's a great system when it works, but I think I would have given up by now and gone back to traditional testing or CGM or the the Libre. Well done to you for persevering though.

I never give up! It takes some work, but it's worth it because a person wants to be knowing what is going on--- especially at bed time.😀

I agree we need to know what is happening on an on going basis with our levels. I find so many situations effect mine stress from different factors be life or foods I have eaten. Sometimes the sensors just go crazy on their own. Readings seem totally off and are from finger calibration. Had to replace my last sensor due to the readings. I'm hoping this one will be better.

Phhh, man. Franky speaking, it looks very scary. By the way, do you know, that worm in the aquarium isn't normal? There are a lot of types of worms, that can be dangerous for the fish, that live in the fish tank. Moreover, difference between some types are so negligible. I am talking about the bristle worm( arcreef.com/bristle-worms/b... ), you can read more about them and make sure about my words. Frankly speaking, I recommend you to get this worm over the fish tank if you don't want to find corpses of your fish.

Not really sure. The area of the aquarium didn’t have the name of the type of fish.
