W1D2 done, yay!

Feeling really happy with that run. My heart is still pumping fast but I've done my cool down and remembered this time to do a few static stretches afterwards so hopefully I won't feel so sore tomorrow.

It took a proper kick up the bottom to get me going, but this time I downloaded the app onto my phone and had Sarah Millican's voice to encourage me so that was nice. It also syncs up with my playlist so I downloaded some tunes to get me going.

My asthma is playing up today so just going to rest up and keep my inhaler on me. Just glad I have done it, just need to kick myself into gear Saturday morning!

  • It's a great feeling when you 've done it!

  • If your heart is pumping fast post run then slow down. Slow, slower is fine for C25k. Preferable in fact 🏃‍♀️🙂

  • Hey misswobble, I will certainly do that on Sat! Thanks :)

  • well done, good plan on the inhaler - take it on runs. I am an asthmatic too and a trip to the nurse is always a good idea just to discuss your management with the running etc :)

  • I ran W1R2 today aswell, not to bad.

Here's to Saturday and the next run!

  • Nice one!

  • Sarah Millican? I listened to Lovely Laura when I did c25k a year ago. Well done for getting started! Best decision of my life! Or one of them.

  • I think I have a different app, it has an option to have some famous people instructing instead of Laura. It works pretty well for me because Sarah has a lovely accent from South Shields and she makes me smile (I probably look a bit crackers smiling whilst I run)!

  • Good for you! You sound like you might just get hooked on this new you. :)

  • It looks likely :D

  • Brilliant! Well done!! :D
