Inhalers

My husband said yesterday since starting the inhalers I seem worse. Is this a usual thing ? Does anyone else find this? To me it seems a bit strange. The nurse feelsI may have eosinophilic asthma, and so this is why the inhalers. Thanks for any thoughts.

Also about inhalers, the daily ones, not rescue inhalers. Do you find you become more dependent on them the longer you use them? I’ve tried several but I never seen much of a difference so I’m not currently using them. I need to find a new pulmonologist, mine retired 2years ago. 😊

can a preventer inhaler cause blood pressure to rise? I’ve used my inhaler for the last week and my bp is 155/101! can’t imagine it doing my glaucoma much good!

Pharmacist rang me this morning to tell me from now in he will supply Ventolin as I feel an improvement if I want it that is big yes from me, no need to tell surgery, also said there is a shortage of salamol inhalers nationwide so some might get Ventolin in there prescription.

Hi my asthma has become uncontrollable even though on highest doses of inhalers and I am now being referred for biological testing. Has anyone else been through this and if so does it help?

my respiratory nurse changed my inhalers to trellegy, after 7 days i couldn't breathe and severely constipated, so i have gone back to my revlar and genuair, any one else had this problem?i can't talk to my nurse she is on holiday.

I have had allot of trials with inhalers but keep getting oral thrush no matter how good my oral hygiene is . The Dr at the Ashma clinic has changed me to this but it’s scarily that one of the side effects is pneumonia 1 inhalation 10 . Any advice on side effects or is it a good inhaler ?

My asthma is very controlled and not giving me too much trouble with my current inhalers. The consultant has now prescribed Relvar Elipta 184/22 and reading the side effects I an really scared to take it. Can anyone give advice please. Thank you.

Could the inhalers be the problem? I do gargle and rinse my mouth after taking, but to no avail!! Many thanks for any guidance Sylvia

I have tried a few steroids inhalers such as Clenil, Fostair Nexthaler and Relvar . Clenil wasn't affective enough but didn't cause any side effects.
