Inhalers

What inhalers do people use for Bronchiectasis sufferers? I have salamol, it aids with relieve from breathlessness but struggle to find any long term solutions. I wondered if anyone has a steroid inhaler that helps them with their symptoms.

I am on Trelegy Elliot’s which gives me a sore throat. I tried Trimbow which gave me side effects so went back to Trelegy. I’m going to ask for something else without powder, but need some advice.

propellants volume may be different, I would suggest the organic propellant in Luferbec, Norflurane (HFA 134a) in some way could be the problem, A study in PubMed (1) stated more research needed to be done on the smooth muscle relaxing properties and to the volume of the propellant used in different inhalers

The article is about the NHS advising doctors to stop prescribing blue inhalers for asthmatics. Why? Because, according to the headline, the blue inhalers harm the planet.

has anyone noticed changes in vision since being on inhalers such as luforbec or steroid tablets ?

I personally feel I was better on the brown and blue inhalers. Anyone else had a similar experience?

After this cleared up I had a spirometry test and was diagnosed with asthma again and put on blue inhalers. Over the years my inhalers have changed, sometimes I've used a preventer, sometimes a reliever. Modern asthma inhalers now often combine preventers and relievers.

After a lobectomy for lung cancer my doctor has changed my inhalers to Trimbow. I am not doing very well on it so far but I have only been taking it for one week. Any helpful advice re Trimbow

I've been on inhalers for a few years now. They are helping for a while then it's hard to breath. Worse after my heart attack and covid

Type in drug you want to check it will come up, you could always try typing asthma steroid based inhalers, good luck.

Hi everyone I'm pleased to say my breathing has dramatically eased I thought it wouldn't it being very hard and worrying the only thing I'm left with is a fiery sore tongue and back throat raw fiery very uncomfortable think it's through inhalers even though rince mouth feels like I've eaten

hi I’m sue i am 62 I have been struggling with copd for a few years now get very breathless on walking and doing daily tasks They say I have emphysema also I have tried different inhalers but none that affective I have just started using the trixeo atmosphere and would like to ask if anyone else

I believe inhalers can do this, but i haven’t had problem before. I haven’t got a cold or sore throat so it isn’t that.

Please could anyone tell me if they are having problems with easy bruising on forearms and shins.The gp says its due to the prednisalone, not the inhalers. Many thanks in advance

Anyway, my concern js that the nurse told me that i shouldn’t now need my blue inhaler as much because it should be more under control and that i am limited to three blue inhalers a year and that if i go over this on my repeat prescriptions, it will be flagged.

Hi everyone, after waiting for 5 weeks for the results of my CT scan I Emailed the Lung check people. I received a prompt reply they couldn’t understand why I hadn’t got them as they had sent the letter out 4 days after my scan on the 16th of May! I have a small nodule which isn’t anything to worry

Does anyone battle with tremor made worse with asthma inhalers? My GP won't give chronic script for sedatives as it is additive. Any advice on non addictive meds that may help but will not clash with asthma and diabetes meds.Thank you.
