So, did my graduation run this morning at the local parkrun and it felt amazing! Ran for longer than I've ever done (33.51) and having my 25 year old daughter run with me was just the best.
Strangely I have mixed emotions as I feel like I've reached a watershed; I'm definitely keeping up the running every other day but will miss the C25K as a running buddy. I've downloaded the C25k+ podcasts and will focus on them for the next few weeks and do a parkrun every second week (hopefully) to monitor progress.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone posting here for your support (though you may not realise you've given it) and reiterate the mantra to all of you working your way through that IT WORKS and YOU CAN DO IT!
I feel better physically and mentally and know that there's simply no going back now π
Thanks guys

No going back now, congratulations on completing C25K at your first parkrun, good time as well, running with your daughter and others would make it more enjoyable, well done π ππΎ π.
Thanks Wenderwoo, like you I tried a park run a few weeks into the process and walked and ran the course. It gave me the confidence to keep going, with the target of making it all the way round by week 9!
My daughter was killing herself laughing as one of the benefits of the last few months is losing a few inches off my waist and I constantly had to pull my shorts up all the way round πππ
