W6R2 - Eat, sleep, rave, repeat...

Well after the Papa John pizza disaster of last Friday followed by the stomach virus at the weekend I didn't get out running for a few days.  Then when I started to feel better, my beloved cat bit me as I tried to protect her from a fight with the neighbour's cat.  I showed my bite to a doc at work who told me to get it seen to immediately.  So Wednesday I got antibiotics from the doc who said 'sorry about the side effects' as I walked out the surgery!  So didn't go running that night either, waiting for the inevitable ☺️...

Thursday was a tetanus jab and a very sore, heavy arm!  So no running then either.

So to the title if this post; eat - I have eaten very healthily this week, no carb laden take aways or junk food.

Sleep - I have tried to get more sleep but the above mentioned cat has started to wake me by tapping my face each morning at 5 am...

Rave - not so much a rave, but delirious celebrations last night watching Liverpool, go on the mighty reds!!

Repeat - repeated W6R1 after a week of no running tonight, up on the seafront, freezing cold wind, but it felt pretty good and I still feel pretty good now.  Had a lovely healthy tea and looking forward to the Epsom salt bath later.  I'm back!!

Happy weekend fellow runners 😀

Thanks, it's a bit of a lead weight and had to put the phone holder on my other arm tonight which felt very weird!
