has anyone had madness when hypothyroid?
I was diagnosed with
bipolar
disorder
(at 44 years of age). Since then, I have had 3 episodes where I thought people were after me and other mad ideas. I am ok now though since being on an antipsychotic (aripiprazole 20mg).

help doesn't feel available
With the severity of my issues (12+ years of SI, depression, and anxiety), suspected
bipolar
disorder
(according to my past psychiatrist), and a family history of
bipolar
disorder
. My PCP isn't comfortable treating my psychiatric issues although I will ask her for help again when I see her in June.

Anxiety
I overthink everything I do at work, and my
bipolar
disorder
makes me impulsive so I do and say things without thinking. Then the anxiety and guilt set in and I have no idea how to fix it. Today was a rough day in that aspect. I want to just have a good day, but I just can’t.

I am Alone
My boyfriend has
Bipolar
Disorder
and let say this year hasn't been the greatest overall. I haven't felt this suicidal since my teens( I'm a 26 year old female). I'm all over the place at the moment. I feel like I can't begin to express how much I want to end my life. I'm so tired of this.

Depressed and no desire to live
I have
bipolar
disorder
, and I'm so tired of small disappointments manifesting into devastations. I wish I could just remain within a typical person's spectrum of emotions. Instead, I feel worthless and like life is meaningless. I have no desire to wake up tomorrow or to even move out of my bed.

but does anyone else think this way? Like nothing causes it I just go from really positive to negative for no reason

I Need Help with Bipolar Friend
Until then, and perhaps they will see what I do, right now she may be dealing with untreated
bipolar
disorder
. A friend who is
bipolar
told me the best thing to do is love her - from a distance, but keep being there for when she crashes.

A part of it too is I’ve been in denial about the possibility of having
Bipolar
Disorder
and that having been a risk factor for having developed PPP but when she reviewed my personal history and family history with me it again became apparent that I probably have BD1 with a history of BD2.

I have
bipolar
disorder
, ptsd and anxiety so I’m on various medications that can trigger rls. I’m bothered every night and sleep is severely disrupted. They put me on carbamazepine in the past and I’m now on Gabapentin but only on 300mg. Appears to have no effect.

Improved sleep on anti-anxiety medication / antidepressants.
One line of thought is that one (of several) explanations for non-refreshing sleep is "state of mind" [i]State of mind: there can be any number of disorders like anxiety, depression,

that lead to poor sleep quality.

Bipolar Depression
My psychiatrist suspects I have
bipolar
disorder
because I had a psychotic episode that lasted for about a week that she thinks was mania with psychotic features. I was then stable for about 3 months, but then became depressed and am going on being depressed for 7 months now.

Are there other mums who have never gone back to work years after having PPP
Well I never recovered from ppp and I now live with a diagnosis of
Bipolar
Disorder
. As such I've not been able to hold down a job and work for 20 years. Are there any mums on here who years later are not back in work and at home? If so how do you occupy your time?
