Never give up! It's overwhelming when you've overcome an obstacle.

So I had an appointment today, that I've been dreading for weeks! I'm very scared of being too far away from home, and as neither I, my partner or my parents drive, I decided to walk there. I was nervous all today, though I had nothing to fear I was fearing about going out, being there etc. My mum came with me, and we setted off. I got 5 mins up the hill, my heart was pounding out of my chest, sweating, trembling.. I just wanted to run back and cry. Regardless, after a breather and wise words from my mum, we continued on. I needed quite a few breaks to get my breath back, but I did it.. got there, stayed in there and got home.

I knew that I had to keep going.. I just needed to be courageous and strong.

The feeling when you've overcome an obstacle is absolutely overwhelming.. incredibly powerful! I feel very emotional, very proud and very hopeful. So when you've overcome an obstacle that you're fearful of, when you've done what you thought was the impossible.. be very proud of yourself. It's very, very hard facing a fear.. whether that be bungee jumping or even stepping foot outside of your house. Be proud of yourself.. you may not think it, but you're a very strong, courageous person. Believe in yourself! We deserve to show ourselves love. :)

Aww thank you :)

Ah right, being alone does scare me too. I'm very lucky to have my partner of whom I've been with for nearly 7 years, but I'm very scared to loose him. What did you study in your further education? I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work out. Ahh I can relate to that. I'll be 23 in a few months, yet I feel a lot older. I don't go out partying (regardless of having anxiety) I did all my partying before I was 18, it doesn't appeal to me any more. I suppose with loving ourselves, it seems more so to be kind to ourselves, and notice the positives.

I agree. Ah right, well I suppose it's still something you did and an experience. I used to drink for confidence to be able to talk to people and be myself, but now I don't drink it's a lot harder to socialise haha. Well that's good, being a good person and being good to your body. Same here too, I have quite low self esteem but there are times when a positive just kind of shines through that.

Wooohooo, well done you :-)

Now, have a good rest, wallow in your achievement, then keep at it, dont sit on this one,

keep doing them, it all about the practice.

I'm SOOOOO proud of you

Me too.. and just the whole mentality we have in this country to 'get pissed'.. The novelty has worn off for me, but yet for many it hasn't. It messes up our liver and brains, the hangovers, the waste of money etc.. the negatives far outweigh the positives in my opinion. When you see young women passed out in the street, lying in their own sick! It disgusts me.. how is this the norm?! But yes, we certainly aren't missing out.

Thank you B! I'm trying to eat healthier.. but I got back and thought blow it, I'll eat a chocolate bar hahaha

Thanks again, it means a lot! :-D xxx
