do food &drink affect aniexty?

hi all,i was just wondering if any type of food or certain drinks ie-tea etc make any difference to aniexty,is there any thing i should steer clear of or stop,help if anyone nos?

To much coffee , tea & alcholol can be bad for you & make anxiety worse

Yes my advice is drinking chamomile tea (tea pig as brand) from Waitrose and you can always add thyme honey in it, again its from Waitrose! You can have tea or coffee in morning but that's it, drinking plenty of free caffeine green tea as called tick tock- tesco only sells it then chamomile with honey if you wish before bed time. Highly remmonded you to buy sea salt mineral for bath as it remove toxin in your body but helps you relax and soothe your muscles aches, I bought it from debenham but can be found from sainsbury & boots! Make sure you eat plenty fruits even vegs. I'm taking magnesium 300mg as it help my anxiety a lot, been feeling myself and nearly no anxiety for 3-4 days also I'm taking seven sea radiant energy and vitamin D good luck! Xx

thanks ive just started chamomile tea just about drinkable but i do have tea.coffee will have to change to caffiene free i take it ,its the caffiene not good?minnie please tell me whats is good and bad for aniexty?

Sorry just seen this and pls look upbelow where I reply to whywhy and take my advice if you wish so. You can drink normal coffee in morning either tea but only 1 cup as advised then drink lots green tea during day then chamomile before bed time ok? Xx

Hi hun, minnie gave me advice on drinkin chamomile tea, she only drinks the pig tea 1 frm wiatrose as she said its the bst 1. she also takes vitamins including vitamin b complex + magnesium, plus calcium + vitamin c. b careful not 2 take 2 much calcium + make sure these r safe wiv any meds ur on. minnie also likes 2 do exercise + takes nice relaxin baths wiv bath salts. these hlp som people but i didnt get any benefit frm cuttin anythin out, i tried herbal teas, vitamins + tons of bloody herbal remedys, cut dwn on tea coffee + stopped chocolate, infact i tried everythin but didnt make a difference but som of these like the chocolate + caffine r known 2 make anxiety worse. so jst bcause it didnt work 4 me doesnt mean it wont 4 u or any1 else. herbal remedys, chamomile tea e.c.t hav mild calmin properties so r worth a try but dnt expect miricles as i did but then again it does depend on how bad ur illness is, ive had a full blown nervous brkdwn so would b insane 2 think these would cure me, would b like puttin a plaster on a broken leg. at the end of the day its horses 4 courses, wot suits 1 person doesnt work 4 another. jst try 2 b sensible + cut out caffine + chocolate 4 a couple of days 2 c if u notice a difference. try 2 b sensible + judge ur own judgement, listen 2 ur GP + if u want W try the alternative treatment give it a go but hav a cut off piont wen u will hav 2 accept if it doesnt work u may need 2 go on meds, but plse dnt mix both as can b dangerous. after mnths of tryin 2 find awnsers + remedys 4 my brkdwn i am only jst now acceptin that its me, i think we r so desperate we search 4 every awnser possible. is it my hormones, a water infection, tea/coffee e.c.t. its only understandable after goin through this. hope this has hlped + good luck wiv ur decission in finding ur treatment. wiv kindest regards leeanne.x

Green tea is supposed to be good. And i heard Vit B3 is supposed to be good for SAD. If you're taking and vitamins and suppliments though, do your research and make sure youre not taking anything that could interact with each other or overdo it.

Personally i like minibix, and bananas (not together, though could do!) not sure why though, i just notice it perks me up a little, but maybe thats how cold the milk is! Ha

Defo stay away from alcohol.
