Does anyone out there get a horrible cold every Christmas?

Urrgh, I am sitting here on day 4 of a terrible cold, that left me in bed the last three days. I HAVE SO MUCH TO DOOO and am capable of the bare minimum. This happens every year. Must be stress-related. Anyone else out there in the same boat?

Last Christmas I had one of the worst colds I'd ever had.

It started Christmas Eve, was awful Christmas and Boxing Days, then when we all went back to work, cleared up!

Blummin' nightmare! I have been sick every Christmas since my mother died on December 23rd. Every. single. Christmas. It doesn't help my OCD either, I go a bit loopy when I'm sick....

I`m sure that it`s mainly down to stress, & of course being surrounded by hundreds of people when out shopping. Who knows what bugs they may be carrying. I loath crowds!

It is a fact that any illness, including our particular one, lowers the resistance, but we are vulnerable at this time of year anyway. With the rotten Summer we had is it surprising?
