blood test results!

really panicking at the moment had my blood and well my liver enzymes were 160, got them down to 80 but says possible stage 1 kidney disease and also my Serum triglycerides are 5.0 and are meant to be between 0.2 and 2.0, I’ve seen it says high levels can cause strokes, H attacks and other things. Panicking so much dr says I will have to come into office 24th and it’s “not urgent” how is that not urgent

hi there mine is the same at the minute except mine is 154 I’ve also discovered I also have multiple gallstones which apparently can explain the reading but it is still worrying isn’t it I’ve gone on a clean diet drinking plenty of water and my dr wants to see me in April for a retest but he said he’s not worried but that’s easier said than done I’ve never had that before if you’re. Worried ring you’re drs again and ask for a earlier appointment to put you’re mind at ease I did I told them it’s caused me to have bad anxiety and they got me in sooner I’m not saying you’re drs will but I think the waiting part is the worst hope you get in sooner and they ease you’re mind for you

thankyou, from what I’ve read all ye tests that came back abnormal can be reversed through a low carb clean diet, so I’m going to try that today

diagnosing yourself with google is never a good idea. The doc looks at a lot of things.

ye I’m just looking at the numbers thinking wow they’re so out of range, he’s put it as non urgent so just hoping he says everything can be helped with diet

I have thyroid numbers that are 100 times what they should be but they don’t matter because my meds are doing their job.

your liver enzymes are not related to your kidneys!!!

I know it’s 2 seperate tests that came back bad liver and the kidneys.

If your blood tests are truly abnormal, which only your doctor can tell you, I am not sure they can be helped by a low carb diet. When you see your doctor, find out if they are in fact seriously abnormal and ask him what you should do to improve them.
