I’m afraid that I might have corneal neovascularization due to chronic eye inflammation. Any thoughts?

I’ve had chronic inflammation in my eyes for a couple of years now. For the first several months, I kept using hypromellose eye drops 3 times a day. It wasn’t until I got prescription glasses for my astigmatism when I realized I no longer needed the drops as badly as I used to. After some weeks with my new glasses on, and I’ve stopped using eye lubricants altogether since I don’t suffer from extreme symptoms. However, to this day, my eyes keep experiencing some dryness, irritation from time to time, and persistent redness. How likely is it that I may have corneal neovascularization at this point? Is it finally time to go to a doctor?
