I have been having constant 24/7 pressure in my head on going for 2 1/2 years. Multiple mri’s CT’s and any test you can think of that includes the head including lumbar puncture all tests returned normal and finding nothing. Symptoms include heavy head, dizziness, migraines, nausea. The pressure is all the time nothing has helped I’ve had an arachnoid cyst removed and have also had balloon sinuplasty surgery to try and see if that had anything to do with the pressure I’ve been dealing with both provided no relief. Along with tons of meds for headaches, migraines, decongestants, antibiotics etc. I’ve tried the Mayo Clinic but they decided to diagnose me with a migraine like most doctors have. I know that its not a migraine because i have headaches with the pressure but the headache can go away but the 24/7 pressure stays at a steady level and has not gone down since it can only go up depending on what I’m doing. I am extremely depressed and anxious because I seem to be getting no relief and my quality of life has been taken from me. I am 20 years old my name is Jake Yarbrough, and I’m crying out for help.

I have this, and have had for 6 years now. I was diagnosed with Hemiplegic Migraine with constant Migraine Related Vertigo. It is the correct diagnosis for me - I have an excellent Neurologist and attend a brilliant Neurosciences Dept here in the UK. It's very possible to have symptoms 24/7 even with no headache present such as I do. I am currently awaiting my first set of botox injections which have a good success rate with minimal/no side effects. Has anyone mentioned this to you? The right botox injection protocol can be very helpful with vestibular symptoms such as you describe. Feel free to DM me if you'd like to - I certainly didn't believe my symptoms were all migraine related for the first 2 years after being disgnosed either.
I would not necessarily dismiss a diagnosis from the Mayo Clinic, as they are one of the best in the world. Did they suggest a treatment and are you following this treatment? Also, it seems that Tranquilwaters, in the reply immediately above, has a similar situation to you and that there are treatment options.
Jake I know that feeling well I have had it for years and nothing untoward has happened to me. I’m now 70 years old so please if the drs say nothing don’t worry. I had 2 brain scans. I now only feel the pressure when I think about it. Keep safe
