Head pressure/ dizziness

Hey guys can somebody please ease my mind. I have been having a ton of head pressure! And I have also been feeling really dizzy. I'm worried about a brain tumor or something . I had a ct scan about 3 months ago and it came back normal, but I'm worried they maybe missed something because it wasn't an MRI :/

Hi hun I've read about anxiety causing these problems ive been feeling dizzy for over a year now, I've had numerous amount of tests and all fine I didn't realize at the time but now I think it's all anxiety... Two months ago is when my anxiety got to it's peak..I don't think anxiety is an instant impact I think it takes time to build up. So personally I think it's most likely anxiety hun of you've had tests then they are very accurate but if its worrying you so much go to your gp and request an MRI if that comes back negative you may probably still think you have something wrong :( unfortunately this is anxiety it feeds off your worrys and fears and messes with your head. Hope that helps xx

I'm going through same thing right now. I am sitting in my Dr office as we speak I have been off my meds for few months now, trying to deal with this, anxiety and paNic attacks on my own, breathing  exercises, talking to people about them, but they are not getting better, they are presenting as Fuzzy, dizzy, headaches Pressure in head. Ugh then I panic and worry more. It's a vicious cycle. Don't know what to do keep going to Dr tests keep coming break normal. Yet I feel it's physical symptoms I feel that create the anxiety.

Thanks everyone for all the replies. I feel so much better. I went to the doctor today and they are running a lot of blood tests. But as far as the pressure in my head goes he said it is caused my muscle tension in your neck that travels all the way up your head.so I feel much better about that

So Kim, how did the pressure go? Have you worked with physiotherapist for the muscle tension in your neck

They gave me some muscle relaxers and I just learned to try to control my anxiety and not worry about it daily and it went away on its own

Hey kim, I would say that it is just an anxiety and nothing else. I've been through this condition too, and I know how you feel its really bad I know.

This is anxiety which makes you feel and think like that "but I'm worried they maybe missed something because it wasn't an MRI :/". (your words).

I must say that stop googling around about anxiety and other stuff which trouble your mind, and face your problems.

in anxiety, so far I know is that you only need to control yourself instead of taking drugs and other anti-depression.

Just try to RE-PROGRAM your self ..

CHEERS. :)

Do you have any other symptoms? How long has this been going on for?

A couple things that you may want to look into -

1. Lyme disease and all coinfections (Babesia, bartonella, ehrlichia). You have to be tested by Igenex though, regular tests don't always cut it. Your doctor should be able to order an ELISA and a Western Blot. Also ask to be tested for the coinfections above. If you have 2 strains then you are positive forget the CDC needed 3 strains rule. And you need no less than 4 weeks of doxycycline. If you test positive find an LLMD - a Lyme literate Doctor who can help you There are Lyme groups on Facebook where members give people names of doctors by them.

2. Diet - Try cutting out all dairy, caffeine and gluten for one month and see how you feel.

Not what you're looking for?
