But the last few days I've been having low blood pressure at first it was at 67 then the next day it dropped to 47!😔 It made me freak out and worry like imma die or something because I feel dizzy and short story I also had a few drinks with my bf for a birthday so I thought that was why I'm feeling like this! But it's 12:30am and I'm still feeling dizzy , I'm trying to eat salty stuff and drink slot of water . Has anyone ever had low blood pressure like this and got it back up!? And how did you!?

I've had low blood pressure for many years, i was told by a heart consultant to add a little extra salt to my food and exercise regularly, both of these things will help push blood pressure up, if you feel dizzy or have been sitting for a while, try stretching your arms around, this gets the blood pumping abit xxx

Hi and yes I seen him when it was at 47! I'm going to check on my blood pressure and if it's still low I'm going to the ER to see what's going on . Cause I've been having anxiety really worrying about it and making me really feel worse , I'm only 20 my normal blood pressure is 89,

As a medical professional I can tell you those machines in the stores are not very reliable. The most reliable BP is a manual one. If the machine is not calibrated or if the cuff is too large for your arm your reading will be lower. If the cuff is too small your reading will be higher. I'd venture to say if your systolic (top number) was really 47 you wouldn't be able to function. With a top number of 47 your bottom number would be around 20 and that is not sustainable for very long. Your organs and brain require a certain number just to function and 47 is not high enough. Please let us know what it is when/if you go to the doctor's office. I'm curious to know what it really is.

Hi when I checked it last night it was Systolic 137 , diastolic 86 , pulse 156 . My pulse was high because I was so worried that my blood pressure was gonna be low and I had anxiety while getting it done . Im going to check it today as well just to really relax my mind

For many years, my blood pressure was 80/60. It's now about normal range. I never worried about it until recently when it was on the high side. Taking your own blood pressure is tricky. As indicated, some blood pressure machines are not very reliable. In addition, your blood pressure changes throughout the day. However, if yours is 137/86, that is nothing to be concerned about.

Thanks for all the info! I checked it today and it was 127/83 but my heart rate was 148! I think it's because I started to really panic because I worry a lot of anything and maybe that's why but I really need to relax before even doing it next time

Anxiety will certainly increase your heart rate and blood pressure. It would be a good idea to try to relax before taking it next time - calm breathing, calm music, etc. You might also want to talk to your doctor about your blood pressure so that you are informed and educated about how blood pressure, heart rate and anxiety are connected. At your age, you are likely in good health and don't have to worry too much about blood pressure or any other health issues. I realize that anxiety tells you otherwise, but remember, anxiety is a liar.
