I’ve been waking up at night with a racing heart. I’m 52. So my doctor prescribed me 100 mg of estrogen (estradiol 50 patch) and progesterone 100 mg at night in which she says may help me sleep. Has anyone tried hormone replacement therapy and did it help them with their anxiety at night and help them sleep?

I started HRT about 6 weeks ago and it’s helped with anxiety/jittery feeling but not with night sweats and fuzzy eyes and head, flushed face. It can take 3 or 4 months to find the right dose and settle down though.
Thanks for letting me know. Good to know it might take a while to work and get the dose right Did you have any side effects when you started taking it? I’m worried about the side effects.
