Are you getting this when you experience stress/anxiety?
If so whatās been stressing you out?
Hello
I know this is your fear mine now as well but seriously all those tests you have had done and when I did have my heart attack they new straight away this is your anxiety
My Doctor also used to tell me that women have a hormone , cannot remember which one it is but it protects them having a heart attack and not till they go through the menopause does it crease their risks of having one and I was fine till I went through the menopause and when I no longer was producing which ever hormone she said I had my heart attack , I am not saying this happens to every women when they go through the menopause I am just trying to help giving you every reassurance with your age , having that hormone to help protect you and all those tests that this is anxiety , if you can accept it the fear and sensations will ease
That might be stress or anxiety or even just a lack of magnesium. In all three cases, magnesium is great to calm your mind body and spirit and ginseng will get rid of sticky negative thoughts that bring you down. Magnesium malate or glycinate are best, not citrate. Citrate can give diarrhea. Hope these help you too, as they have many. Best wishes! =)
Hi Kaaayla, yes I have had them for over a week now. Iāve had them before as well when I was stressed Went to ER. All good. They seem to be subsiding. I am stressed because I moved into a new place and the person above me is keeping me awake with the noise all hours. I canāt stand the adrenaline rush. Drives me crazy and gives more anxiety. Iāve been eating more potassium rich foods because sometimes could be low or magnesium could be low too. Are you stressed about anything? How long have you had them?
Hi! I am 53 yrs old, and have had them since I was 22, and had my first child. (I have 4 adult children now). They scared the daylights out of me when I first became aware of them. Throughout the years, I have had every test imaginable done, and have been repeatedly assured that it is a ānuisanceā, and NOT life-threatening, but I do know how terrifying it can be when it happens!! Over the years mine have been bad at times, then would go away for months at a time. I believe mine were 100% connected to hormonal fluctuations, and/or stress/anxiety. Mine would get worse about a week prior to my period, and sometimes when I would ovulate. PLEASE do consider trying some magnesium!! It helped mine SO MUCH!! I take a low dose (250 mg) right before bed, and it has really made a difference (also helps with sleep!! I also drink coconut water pretty regularly to keep my potassium where it should be, too. I would recommend getting some blood work, to see how your electrolytes areāthat has caused mine to act up in the past (when I had been sick and dehydrated)...and finally, DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!! Sometimes they can be alleviated just by doing that, if youāre dehydrated!
Also, if you want to have some reassurance from a physician, I highly recommend checking out Dr. Sanjay Guptaāheās a cardiologist in York, UK., and has tons of videos on YouTube on this subject!! He, along with my own cardiologists, stress that āthese things are benign in a heart that is structurally normalā (an echocardiogram may be ordered). There are other docs with the same name (one is on the news here in the US, but the one you want is the CARDIOLOGIST, based in the UK). He is SO REASSURING, and knowledgable!! He also recommends taking the magnesium to alleviate the ectopic beats (assuming that is what youāre experiencingāit sounds like that from your description, and itās a VERY common thing)...He was a godsend to me! His videos are all free, and he is very calming, and informative!
I hope you get some relief!! I have learned to live with mine to the point that I now can ignore them and go on with my daily lifeāthat wasnāt always the case, so I know how you feel. My mom is an ER nurse (she is 78, and still works full time!) She ALSO reassures me that she sees this stuff āall the timeā, and 90% of the time, it is nothing to worry about. My (20 yr old) daughter gets them now, too (worse around period and ovulation, too)āand Iāve told her the same things. I wish you all the best, and hang in there!! Youāre not alone!! š„°
