Someone help right now please I’m trying to drop of to sleep for the last 3 hours feel like my heart ain’t beating right .. I had to get up now it’s racing I feel like I can’t breath I’m roasting hot am I going to die please so scared feels like my heart not the right rhythm but I know it is.. like it will go boom boom boom BANG , I just check my heart rate and it was 163 then it goes down then goes back up. I’m dripping with sweating all I wanted to do was go sleep. I can’t deal with this , I’m scared I haven’t got anyone to turn to right now

I just had to take a 2mg diazepam.. it’s not that last 2 nights iv just felt so weird in myself then Iv been trying to drop of to sleep for hours I couldn’t get tossing and turning and I just felt like my heart wasn’t beating how it should I hate this Can’t do it anymore
You are under alot of stress lately. I have admired what you have done. Let the meds work a bit and see how you feel.

Also I think I’m chest breathing .. when u should really be belly breathing I heard I dunno xx

Breath in deep in the belly through the nose and then slowly blow out through you mouth and let all the air out deep into your pelvic floor. Start the inhale again letting the belly and diaphragm do most of the work.
Do only three slow breaths and this should calm the system down if you let the diaphragm work for you. So many of us breath shallow. That is not helpful. this kind of breath is also probably good for this virus if that is part of the fear. I try not to worry with the in breath, just get enough to have a lot of air to slowly blow out as the exhale it paramount for calming.
Calming breath opens up the nervous system and instantly calms you down if done slowly in the lower abdomen, not from the chest as a focus. People are just not used to using the belly probably out of not want to stick it out as so many of use suck in that gut instead we avoid it, but not best for quality breathing. Often you should feel it followed by a great yawn and this is a great response should you feel it.
Yeh I was told I breath with my chest and not diaphragm .. I just get so confused how to breath if uno what I mean x
toThink stomach doing the work. I place duckies on kids bellies while they are doing exercises on the floor and watch the duck go up and down to get them used to the stomach breathing. They use this is hospitals for helping with breath. Even sit-in let the stomach move instead of focusing on the chest. Women, as I said are not used to pushing out the stomach. Too unflattering, but it is only short term and then exhale and it comes in as if you are "sucking in the gut," you know the drill

It’s so horrible!! I’m still up it’s 8am where I am not slept one wink! Every time I try drop of my heart feels funny. I’m laying here and it’s feels so weird in my chest can’t describe it. Do u get this 😢
Yes I do. It’s because you’re under so much stress and your body won’t relax. You should call your doctor and talk about medication because the ones you’re taking don’t seem to be helping you

I only have sertraline antidepressants .. I take diazepam only if I HAVE to when I feel bad bad , got bad chest pains still fed up with feelings like this xx

Call your doctor asap or get to an ER quick. What else are you taking and what are your diagnoses? Both psychiatric and medical? It could be side effects from medication, the anxiety in of itself, a physical ailment or even a combination of all of these. I have had a lot of experience with psych meds and physical stuff, and can help get you on the right path to give a more accurate picture to give your doctor for a more accurate diagnosis and proper treatment. Your symptoms could be the anxiety itself, or signs of an underlying medical condition causing anxiety like symptoms. You could confirm online with a doctor if you don't feel comfortable with your current doctor or the ER.
